  • Great App to Find Quick Housing

    By NovaRedze
I have been trying to find housing for months in Birmingham AL using other methods with no luck. I tried this app once before and got a really “weird” response so I gave up! Some of my classmates told me to try again… I was definitely a Negative Nancy! But this time around I’ve had much better luck! Now I’m trying to decide between a much larger pool! Thank you Roomster app! I believe THIS time, we’ve found a match!!!
  • 8.99/ week yea no

Don’t use this app because you have to pay 8.99/ week just to read messages

  • You have to pay for everything

The app itself is free to download but you can’t use it without having to pay for all the features. They have an ID verification feature which is cool but guess what? It costs $15 to verify your ID so like 95% of people aren’t verified. Whats even more ridiculous is that you can’t message anyone or even see any incoming messages unless you buy their $9/week subscription. And of course even if you buy the subscription, there’s no guarantee that anyone will reply to your messages because most of them don’t pay for the subscription. In fact, majority of listings in my area don’t even have photos, bios or anything other than the price. I understand that they need to make money but $9 a week just to message someone is way too expensive. I’d much rather simply pay $20 for the whole app with all its features included when downloading it, at least then I’d know that the people on there advertising their apartment will actually be able to see my messages and reply.
  • If you find a roomie, theyll SPAM you

    By Hannah Sachie
Literally. The whole point of this app is to find a roomie. After you deactivate yourself, then send you daily emails saying they miss you. WHO ARE THE MARKETERS MAKING THESE DECISIONS??? WHO WANTS THAT??? DO PEOPLE NOT THINK??
  • Roomster review

    By ᗪEEᗷO
When I discovered Roomster app I was well pleased. The layout and presentation of available rooms and roommates was easily displayed and conveyed to me easily . With all the tags it delivered I had a tough time deciding who I wanted to reply back to. They all matched with my decisive filtering results.
