  • The BEST Swim App

If you are a beginner or even advanced swimmer you have to invest in this App. This is hands down the best app for swimming. I rate the app a 5 along with the best tech support (Charlie) I have ever experienced. They openly solicit feedback for enhancements on the app. The workouts can be customized to your ability and skill level. The land workouts are also fantastic.

The app offers a good library of swim workouts. The preferences on my fastest 100s are generally accurate and provide good starting points for intervals. I appreciate this feature and enjoy not bogging myself in planning intervals for workouts. I really wish my search preferences in the swim library were saved. It’s not enjoyable to set preferences to search the library every time I’m trying to plan a swim for the day. I don’t need level 1 workouts, I don’t need to be shown 500 hard and 1,500 yard workouts. I just want to find level 3 and 4 workouts at around 3,000 yards. I’d love if those preferences were saved and automatically applied. This app is a terrific guide if you’re learning to be a technically skilled swimmer without the resources for coaching. If you’re a masters level swimmer. I would recommend other options like TrainingPeaks or an online newsletter to shop for swim sets.

After downloading the app I received numerous spam emails. Eventually I seen an unauthorized purchase from “Apple.com/US” for over $1300.00! I suggest not getting this app from a security perspective. The software team needs to investigate breaches in their database.

This app has some amazing features. After coming back to swimming after a 17 year break, I was looking for something to help with tracking my progress. Using customized work outs and feedback from each training session I have been able to dramatically improve my times and fulfill my goals. Pairing with the apple watch allows for accurate tracking of training data so that you are able to track progress over time. In less than 6 months time I am swimming faster than I was before. Definitely worth the price.

Been using the app for some time now, I dont have a watch so I do manual log and pdf. I love the app it makes it a lot easier to get out and swim. The only thing I’d want to change is just like being able to adjust the swim equipment, to be able to adjust the dry land equipment too
  • I want to use it but can’t.

Going through the sign-up process, and reached the point where asked me what length pool do I swim in. When I select 25 yards, it thinks about it, then prompts me with an error message that states error user is not logged in. I can’t even use the app and sign up. iPhone 15 Pro Max, thanks.

I have been swimming all my adult life. 2 years ago at age 72 I had lessons and learn how to do flip turns. However I have still been struggling with the boredom of doing laps. MSP has solved that and I’ve made more progress in the last few weeks than I have in the last few years. I used to Listen to music while swimming but now I don’t have time because I’m focusing on the workouts. I needed help getting started and had an excellent one hour introductory chat with Charlie Brown which I would highly recommend to anyone who is not used to training programs.
