  • Organization Login works just fine

    By MickeyC_
I see a lot of people struggling to use this app with their organization’s login. I was able to do so by clicking the “1 click login” link in the app, which took me to my browser and verified that I was in fact logged in with my organization. It’s clear that this app is just a companion to the site, not an alternative to it. It has no function outside of storing and managing downloaded courses. If that’s all you need it for, it’s great.
  • Cannot be used with organizations

    By nutella_98
I don't know what is the point of this app. It is not usable if you login through your organization. First of all, you can't even login through your organization. If that's what you want to do, you have to use your browser to login and then connect. But even if I connect, there's nothing that the app does or shows but a simple display area that says I don't have any downloaded content. Period. No navigation, no courses, no download buttons, no nothing. So basically this app is useless if you use Lynda through your organization. It should be mentioned in the description.
  • This app blocked my downloads

    By G. Azim
The app allows you to access your downloads as long as you stay a member. I suspended my membership over the summer and the app just blocked all my downloads. Don’t waste time and disk space — Also I don’t understand how to justify a premium membership that allows downloading if downloads don’t stay with you — what a strange pricing policy!
  • Disappointing

By fast, cheap, and out of control
Even if you’re a paid LinkedIn/Learning, there’s no connection to this app. You cannot watch anything. LinkedIn bought Lynda three years ago, so that’s disappointing.
  • Corporate login is a no-go. Bummer.

    By seablade25
Wanted to maximize available display space by viewing the tutorials offline using the app, but can’t login. There are two options, an “already logged in to the website” and the typical username/password. Since I was already logged in to the site, I chose that option. Spin, spin, spin, spin …need i go on? Nada. Oh, well, great online presence and great tutorials. App needs work (I think it does, I can’t even get past login)—can’t win them all.
  • Perfectly fine if you come in with the right expectations

    By UkaTim
This is a tool, not a standalone It has one and only one job, to allow you to watch Lynda offline, and it does that just fine, if you are fortunate enough to have abiliity view them offline. To those wondering why it’s just tellng them they haven’t downloaded any courses yet, it’s because you need to get on the Website, find a course, and go to “View Offline”.
  • Unclear user interface

    By newz2000
To say this app is “minimalist” is an understatement. There really is no UI unless you visit in Safari and then, on a course click “View Offline” and then “Start the Download.” At that point, it opens this app and you can then view the course without having an Internet connection. Developers: I’d suggest at the least, adding the ability to see my playlists in the app and/or a “browse courses” button that takes you to the website.
  • Needs updating to LinkedIn Learning

    By Markus Weldon
This app doesn’t work properly if you are coming in via a LinkedIn Learning membership. Also the fact you need a account first to use this is highly confusing as a paying Lynda by LinkedIn subscriber. What happens if you don’t have a account and you have signed up for LinkedIn Learning? Well, you would think the signup page at would allow you to then setup an account which you can tie back to your LinkedIn Learning - Wrong! signup pages route you to LinkedIn making it near impossible to setup a account. Whoever designed the current to LinkedIn integration/merge SHAME ON YOU! Please fix this and release a dedicated LinkedIn Learning app for Mac.
  • Doesn’t Run on 10.9

    By Welldon Rumproast
Says it does, but it does not. Still waiting to hear back from Lynda. Don’t bother

    By Lieth Wahid
I cannot believe these people, they tell you to sign up and purchase their products through Linkedin learning, you do that, once you are done and wnat to log into their app or account they tell you you dont have accout. You search the internet for how to sign up for Lynda and they tell you that the only way possible to do that is through linked in which what you exactly just did but you still not able to log in because the account is created at Linked in learning and there is no possible way to create an account on their site. I just lost 50 USD for no reasons. I am so frustrated at the moment.
