Description

Put your diet on autopilot with Eat This Much. Tell us your diet goals, the foods you like, your budget, and what your schedule looks like, and we'll automatically generate a complete meal plan to meet your targets. It's like having a personal diet assistant. We offer both free accounts and premium accounts. As a free user, you can create a day's meal plan and completely customize it however you want. Each meal can have different preferences, and your nutrition targets can be whatever you like. As a premium user, we'll automatically generate a week of meal plans and send them to you with a grocery list via email. As you follow the plans, you can track what you did or didn't eat, and if you deviate from the plans, we make it easy to readjust your targets for the next week to stay on track. Try out the free account to see if our meal plans appeal to you, and upgrade when you're ready. - Follow any eating style or create your own - Hit your macros and calorie targets every day - Empower yourself with automatic control over your diet - Take the anxiety out of picking what to eat - Personalize any of our recipes and they'll replace the original - Reduce food waste - Don't like our suggestions? Easily swap them out or configure the generator to only use foods you like - Manage your virtual pantry (with a premium account) Normal calorie trackers force you to add foods into your diary one by one. And by the end of the day, there's no guarantee that you'll be anywhere near the nutrition targets you're trying to reach. With our automatic planner, there's nothing to track because everything is already entered for you, and all you have to do is follow the plan. Subscription options: - You can download the app for free and create/customize as many unique meal plans as you want, and save one to your account. - To unlock the features of Eat This Much Premium, you can subscribe for $8.99 USD per month or $84.99 USD per year. There is a 2 week free trial. Auto-renew details: - The price to subscribe in your currency will be shown in the app before confirming the subscription. - After the free trial has ended, payment will be charged to your iTunes Account. - Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the end of the current period (the auto-renew will continue with the same frequency that you select, normally either $8.99 USD for the monthly subscription or $84.99 USD for the annual subscription unless we are running a sale). - Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price you initially paid. - Auto-renew can be turned off at any time from your iTunes Account Settings. - If you cancel your subscription or turn off auto renew in the middle of a billing cycle your account will remain premium until the end of that cycle. Apple health integration: Apple health syncing can be enabled in Settings -> Apple Health -> Enable Apple Health syncing for Premium users. When Apple Health is enabled: - your weight will automatically import and export when you login and when you view your user profile - nutrition information will automatically export for meals marked "I ate this" when they are first viewed in the app and as you edit them Privacy policy: https://www.eatthismuch.com/privacy-policy/ Terms of use: https://www.eatthismuch.com/terms/

I’ve been on this app for a bit and has honestly helped me a lot with weight loss and strength gain. Only reason I took a star off was because of the grocery list and serving sizes. If i have dinner set for 3 it should allow me to change servings as everyone else doesn’t need as much as I do thus making me buy more than I actually need and end up wasting food. Besides that it’s great. Of course there’s still plenty to improve on/things that can be added that would make the app easier to use. I’ll change my review when the app adds the previously mentioned items.

Tried premium with the auto grocery list. First grocery bill was $300+ just for myself, and half the stuff I would’ve ordered came in a six pack or bigger when the recipe only calls for 1- rest would’ve gone bad. Needless to say I canceled the order. Also- this app seriously expected me to eat 1.5 KILOGRAMS of cottage cheese in one week? No.
  • So far I love it!

So far I love the concept of this app. I only have the free version but this may be one of the few apps I get a subscription for. Few things: I was wondering if there will be a family plan setup? Both my mother and I are on a weight loss plan and it’d be great way to get more users and help us save a bit of money honestly. Or even a discount for students like me? For example. I get a discount on Apple Music through Unidays. It’d be another great way to get more users. Along these lines, I enjoy eating food with my family, so making an option for “dinners for 4” or something would be really nice as well! Great app though overall, I’m excited to explore more of the possibilities with this! Gabriella Horton

It would be so much easier if you could import recipes from web or at least manually as a whole list instead of individually (if you could just copy and paste). Also, would be nice if the restaurants expanded. Quite a few southern chains are not listed. Other than that the app is satisfactory.

I find meal planning and tracking what I’m eating exhausting. I often choose foods that are quick and easy and not as high in nutrition. This app really takes all the annoying work out and lets me focus on preparing fresh food. I love being able to customize my meal plan and providing a grocery list for the week is extremely helpful. Sometimes I have to use the website when the app is acting up, but it’s still a fantastic app. I can’t recommend this enough!

I think this app is great! Easy to follow. I love all the options it gives you and how easy the recipes are. My only complaint is when I first initially set up my preferences. I put vegetarian and I still got meat suggestions. Then I went to no dairy and still suggested yogurt. I then went to the options to select specifically what I didn’t want and still would get some things on there I selected. Idk if there’s a time delay for preferences to reset but it was kind of annoying resetting the week over and over until I got something I liked.

I’ve been using this religiously for about two weeks and have lost about 6 lbs. it is the best (only) meal planner app I have found and for the most part it works very well once you get the hang of things. Some things I like: - Most basic foods are preloaded with calorie/nutrition information. This allows you to use the database to easily craft your own recipes knowing exactly what you’re putting in them. - Many of the recipes on the app are very good. I have at found least 10 new recipes that are very healthy and that I will continue to make for the rest of my life. I’m taking about you “spicy tuna and cottage cheese” lunch. Lol -Adding custom foods is easy with only basic nutrients (cal, fat, carbs, protein) needed which is easy to find and enter -The amount of customization/personalization is great, allowing you to relatively easily construct your own recipes. -The best part. It’s super easy to modify portions to meet your calorie goals. Following the portion amounts teaches you healthy habits that will last as long as you let them. Room for improvement: -The app generated meal plans are not great. Sometimes it will pair 2 main dishes for a meal or give you very weird combinations. I use it as a starter but modify pretty much every meal. -For some reason when you personalize a recipe it drops the image. If it’s basically the same meal with slightly altered portions or a substitute/extra ingredient it would be nice if the same picture could stay up. Also, it is a little clunky to try to add your own image. This is a small quip but I like looking at pictures of what I’m gonna eat. Overall you have to know what you’re getting yourself into when following a meal plan. It takes time, planning and work. With that being said I think if you can commit to investing the effort this app will definitely help you be successful. I’m keeping it until I hit my goal weight and then will probably discontinue but still use the recipes and use what I learned about ingredients and portion sizes to maintain (hopefully) permanent healthy weight.
  • Not worth the money

I tried setting this up but it was constantly giving me recipes with ingredients I had specifically marked to not include (tuna for instance). It also kept giving me recipes I had thumbs-downed. Not worth the money. Doesn’t work like it says. They also don’t tell you when your trial is ending, so you’re stuck footing the bill for an app that doesn’t work as advertised.
