I took the NCIDQ years ago and let it lapse so I'm starting to prepare to take it again years later. Many changes have happened but basic phrasing and types of questions seem similar. This app provides a good range of test questions, however, it is rife with spelling and grammatical errors and at least one wrong answer (unless I am crazy and the safe space created for people to wait rescue in a burning building has become the kitchen and not the Area of Refuge?). It would also be nice if there were some explanations of the correct answers - either after the question or at the end of the test. If you start a test and click on another button in the app or leave to check an answer it will reset the test. At 30 questions that's not horrible but a bit annoying. There is also no mixing of the answers to questions. The correct answer to the same question is always in the same position, so although I'm trying to connect with an answer on a higher level my brain always goes "oh, that one is number 4". I wouldn't call this a learning/teaching tool but as a testing tool I would have rated it higher if it weren't for the clear errors.
