As was remarked earlier on 10 March 2024., with private relay in the icloud settins turned on, it is impossible to fill the extension menues with th LP items quickly. I turned the Private relay off while waiting for the loading process to complete and the extension menues were quickly populated. I then turned th private relay back on. Seems to work fine now. Kuddos to LeroyJenkins704!

Lastpass made me change my password a couple of months ago. I didn't remember that password, so I tried to recover my password... for the last two months. I'm glad they have such strong security and all, but I just lost my passwords for the last ten years. On top of that, I couldn't uninstall this thing from my mac, so I had to buy a program to help me get rid of it. Sorry Lastpass, I was a loyal customer, suscribed to the paid version for years, but this is too much. Bye!!

doesn't work well on mac, not sure if its mac or software, Duo verification doesn't work, through the browser extension I haven't been able to save or delete passwords. not sure what is the issue. in short useless. I have moved from windows to mac, I think I will have to move my password manager too.
  • Update took away two key security features

I have used LastPass as a paid member for a while - and I was shocked in the last few months that an upate to the desktop app removed two features - the random password generator, and the copy password button. In order to generate a random password, you now need to go to their website (or any other website), create the password, copy it and paste it into the app - which opens up a ton of room for human error and potential compromising of the password. The "copy" button used to be available when you hovered over the card so that you can securely copy the password to paste into another window. Now, you need to open the card, click "edit," and copy and paste - again opening up the door for human error and the risk of someone seeing sensitive information while the card is open. I noticed these features disappeared about two months ago and really thought they'd bring them back after feedback but shocked that they haven't. If not, I'll be running out my paid subscription and moving to OnePassword.

as it stands right now I can no longer edit or open the app on my mac...it is without any purpose until they fix it. Lastpass is always months behind on bug revisions and updates.
  • Doesn't Work in Safari on Mac Anymore

Whether this app works on Safari on Mac has been basically a guessing game for a while now. It seems like every update either breaks it, makes it worse, or occasionally fixes it. It's a shame, because it's a great tool on Safari on iOS and iPad OS, but it's horrendous on Safari on Mac OS. It's basically forcing me to use Firefox or Edge browsers when I would prefer to use Safari most of the time.
  • Shockingly bad

Do yourself a favor and use 1Password instead. This UI/UX has not seen an upgrade since 2010

Turn Off Private Relay in iCloud ... if you want this to work well and a Mac. Every month I get tempted to cancel my LP subscription and move onto a competitor. It would be a shame for me and my family to do this after trusting LP for nearly 10 years!

Sorry guys, but it was awesome until the last update - Safari extension is worthless now.
