  • Apps disappeared

I’m the kid. My mom downloaded this app a week ago, ever since, it hasn’t been much of a problem, until I couldn't ask for more time, when I went in the app, all I could see was how much time I had left and I didn’t see any ask for more time or anything. Then we decided to delete the app. After that all my apps came back. A day later, I was on Youtube, then suddenly I just got teleported to the Home Screen, then all of my apps disappeared and I saw Kidslocks on my Home Screen. But I was confused because, me and my mom both deleted the app. So I tried to delete the app again, but when I deleted the app again then all my apps were still gone, and Kidslocks wasn’t anywhere on the Home Screen. So then I tried to check in Settings if I still had Kidslocks, but I didn’t have the app anymore. So I tried to look in App Store if I could download my apps back, but I couldn’t download anything. It just said I can’t download this app because I have a restriction. And still to this day i dont have any apps. Kidslocks I would rate this 0/5 if i could.

I am a parent and have been trying to remove the app from our devices for days now. I get a message that the app will contact me with further instructions, and nothing happens. Very suspicious.

So I get it and it’s totally understandable that parents want to control what children do and make sure they are doing safe stuff but a issue I have is that when they have a social media app off for a long time and you updated the profile on another device, when they turn the app back on it’s still in the data of when you last used it and it’s starts to glitch and then you can’t use it. So I think in the parents phone there should be a button that says “put in the current data” or something.

I jsut deleted kidslox but it’s always continuing to lock my phone and the app comes back. It says I have deleted it in the App Store and my mom has deleted the app too. So can someone please explain why this is happening?

I got this app to regulate my own screen time. I didn’t love it so I tried deleting before the free trial ended, and I didn’t do so correctly. I deleted the app from my phone but not it still is regulating/hiding my apps after downloading. I can’t use safari to troubleshoot because it is regulating that as well, and when I tried redownloading the app, it said that I am not able to. I am frustrated and don’t know what to do.

Nothing changed on child’s phone. Quit tracking location entirely. Support from robochat is no help.

This is a bad idea because kids will value their phone even their phone more and when their phone is unlocked they want to enjoy the time they get and will get annoying to you to unlock it so if you try to get your kids off there phone this is not recommended
