Crestron Pyng is the world’s first home automation app to enable complete setup and control in just a few easy steps right from the iPad. The whole house can be ready in minutes without ever opening a laptop. The Crestron Pyng Hub connects accessories with the app, and runs scenes and events even without the presence of an iPad. Home settings are backed up to the cloud, so making changes is easy and secure.

  • Horrible App

Whoever is giving this app a 5/5 is working for Crestron. This is the most user unfriendly app and system I have used in a very long time. I want to pair up new audio inputs and it does not give me the option on the configuration page. I finally downloaded the PDF of how to set everything up and nothing matches with what I am seeing in the app. Downloaded latest version. Nothing changed. After 3 hours of trying to find videos on their website, half of which are “coming soon” I gave up.

The Pyng Hub, a bunch of Crestron EX hardware and a weekend of "Geeking" out with some really cool technology and I transformed my home to a fully automated facility. I installed lamp dimmers; replaced traditional in wall switches with dimmers; changed out all of my entry door hardware and deadbolts to include a deadbolt on my detached shop, about 150' from the closest EX component and everything "paired" and worked flawlessly the first time every time! Hats off to Crestron for getting it right!!!!!
