Probably not for lots of scanning....however, I was able to take a picture using my iPhone and load the image (several steps) into this app and presto (1 hour later ) I got a .doc file which loads perfectly into Word. No five star because of the wait time.

I was expecting this app to work with Mike say 50% of the words and no formatting. Instead it almost duplicates your documents except it is now in word form so that you can edit it.
