    Love love love this calendar. I use it to organize everything by color so it’s easy to see quickly. Two things that I don’t care for with the updates. 1) they took away Reminders in the app. Now it only has tasks which I feel don’t act the same way and I don’t get notified in the same manner. Personally, I preferred Reminders. 2) the colors available are now listed instead and no longer show a sample of the corresponding color with it. It takes a lot longer to read through each color than to glance and see the color to choose one. They are not even listed in alphabetical order so it takes that much longer. I’m heavily reliant on color coding each of my Events so this is very annoying. Please bring back the color samples connected w the color list.

    why the __ am i getting an event reminder 2 hours AFTER the event?! fix this. right now with the way it operates, it’s junk. might as well delete. 👎🏾

    My husband and I both use this app extensively. We import calendars from our travel app which is a life saver! But for the life of me, I can not understand why it is impossible to edit which ‘category’ an event was created as without either deleting and starting over or ‘duplicate’ it and then delete the original. About 50% of the time I forget to make the catagory ‘Dr. Appt’ or ‘Birthday’ or ‘Travel’ and it defaults to whatever was used last. When it happens to my husband he won’t go to the trouble to fix it. The Apple calendar has this feature, so why can’t Google figure it out??

    I love the app however, can Google add the option to upload your own pictures to events and use them as an icon for the event. Also, maybe the option to choose between Google images and our own photo library. Could Google also have the option to save events as some that happens say…… “every 2nd Friday or the month” or “4 times a year”? Also possibly add more colors to events. Maybe even the option to color code type of events in addition to current options. Finally, be able to set notification sounds for different events saved in the app.

    I love my google calendar but would like to change the color of my task lists so tasks are color coded for work, bills, social, etc. Currently all tasks are the same color even if I add different task lists.

  • Widget not Syncing

    I have loved using Google calendar, it’s what my entire life is based on. But since the recent update, the widget is no longer syncing with my calendar. I rely on the widget to make sure I’m on top of my schedule at any given moment and now that’s no longer the case. I hope they fix this bug soon.

    I’m only giving it 4 stars due to some small issues, there’s small selection of colors to coordinate events, i need more colors! Other than that this app has literally been the best thing ever, i love it so much and it helps me stay organized with dates and appointments better than anything I’ve ever used in the past.

    This is the only calendar app I use. It is what the school district I work for uses and I love that I can sync all events across my accounts to one calendar. I NEED IT TO SYNC WITH MY APPLE WATCH. I need my reminders to come up on my Apple Watch. I’m not sure why this is not a feature yet. Can this happen soon please?

    Overall, I like the app. All I wish is that there were more color options, (I’m not the type of person who likes very bold colors, so I would like a more settle options of the colors.) and I wish the goggle calendar was like one of the apps where you could share your calendar with friends or family to plan around both users. Thank you!!!
