  • Disregard Negative Reviews: I Just Update...

    By MollyZ1
I’ve used this app for about 2 years and it originally was MUCH better than the Apple calendar. But when I updated the Apple IOS, EVERYTHING got screwed up [as the other reviews report]. But I just updated the latest August 2018 Google Calendar and it’s BACK BEING WONDERFUL. Try it, you’ll love it again! [the major difference between the Apple Calendar and the Google is Apple STUPIDLY does NOT permit you to easily move about— LIKE A CALENDAR!— the GOOGLE CALENDAR DOES!]
  • Doesn’t always send notifications

    By akyled7
The app layout is nice and easy to understand. But it has stop sending me notifications for events that I set, which is very inconvenient and means that I have to use a different app for reminders
  • It is good

I like that I can personalize it some. However, I would really want the icon to show the actual date for every day. Let’s say today is the 15th, it would be great if my google calendar app would show 15, not 31 like it does. I shouldn’t Have to open app to see what day it is. It confuses me, especially at the end of the month.
  • Unable to edit even with update

When you’re trying to run a business, you can’t afford to waste time messing with issues like this. When I delete an event, I don’t expect to have to fight with it to stay deleted. This is on my iPhone. C’mon Google, with all that revenue you can afford to get the job done.
  • 50/50 satisfied

Honestly I just went back to using IOS built in mail and calendar apps in my iPhone bc the google calendar and gmail app are ANNOYING. after years of advanced technology why can’t google have a calendar app that shows and updates the correct date (it always says 31). Mac figures it out for iCal. Why can’t google? Another major issue.... I hate that adjusting settings and making edits to events is limited on the app. My default calendar is Work. It’s color coded in green for organizing. But I also have color coded calendars for Personal, reminders, fitness, financing and bills. If I enter a new event it automatically will put it under the work calendar. Then I have to open Mac’s iCal and edit the calendar I want it to be under. But then you go back to Google calendar app and it will show the same event under Work and whatever other category I changed it to. Also from a design and visual perspective I wish they’d redesign it. It looks so juvenile.
  • Come on now

Recently, I have been in awe with the new updates however, with the more recent update, I can’t even get the app to open! Everytime I click on my app, it suddenly closes. I have a very busy life! This makes me irritated and above all, super frustrated! Fix this
  • Works well; App icon day always 31

    By rv5057
Overall pretty good so far except I hate that the app icon always shows the 31st and doesn’t change to whatsoever the date is
  • Good for time budgeting... bad for activity syncing

    By davebrown89
Love the UI and how it helps me find time. Only reason I gave it four stars was because the Health app integration must be syncing everything from the beginning of time. I’ve received probably 1000+ notifications in the last few hours as it syncs. Had to turn it off completely while it brings the data in.
  • Better out there

I’ve been using calendars by readdle because the google calendar app previously didn’t have month view. Now it does, but google calendars won’t allow me to use the classic colors, where calendars by readdle will. I’ve tried leaving feedback several times, but the google calendar app still isn’t allowing me. I can’t use the new color schemes, they’re way too bright! If this app will ever allow the choice of using classic colors then I will likely try it again.
  • Add Appointments for G Suite Customers

    By varunchunduru
I love the app but I would enjoy the experience more if you added an "appointments" option when you click the red add event button. I do a lot of client work on my phone and use Google calendar to schedule appointments, but it's only on the desktop version, and not the mobile. Please add it! 😚
