  • Doesn't play with other finder extensions

    By Gordyb4
I bailed out of dropbox and I do like how oneDrive works...except that it wants to be the only finder extension. In order to use it as intended, you must disable the other programs finder extenstions then it works fine. I have bee around and round with tech support at microsoft on this and they have no answer. A couple of weeds ago I sent a log file and a screen cast showing them exactly the problem. I do believe it they could fix the extension so it didn't need to be a monopoly on the Mac it would be great. I am going to pCloud or another service. Microsoft support just has you chasing around and uninstall reinstall blah blah....
  • Missing out if you want using

    By JGRN99
OneDrive is incredible. Individuals are able to store and create files of all kinds. Personally I store every type of program material in OneDrive I would need during travel. It also allows me to use it on any computer using my own password and safety checks. I have personally been using it since it came out and have never had an issue with it. I have tried to get more of my family to become comfortable with that but until it is used a person would be unable to qualify Its magnificence.
  • Doesn't work like it's supposed to

    By MSSReader
When I'm in an office document, a gold bar appears above the box that tells me that it's not syncing because my credentials expired; I'm not signed in. I click the sign-in button and nothing happens. Sure enough, the document doesn't get updated in the cloud, so when I sign in on another computer, the document's either not there, or I don't have the latest version. Sure enough, the same gold bar appears at that computer. That's the big drawback. Another one, more a nuissance, OneDrive also doesn't let my sync files that don't follow an old naming convention from the 90s. I once left a job and tried to back up two years of client work to OneDrive. After 20 minutes of renaming files, I said BLEEP this and put it all in iCloud. Which by the way, also does a better job of syncing work between desktops.

  • Always Cannot Create Location

    By Yvan.Li
I cannot count how many times it fails to create a location to sync my files after restart my mac. Pretty annoying for a daily-use app.
  • Please Change the Copyright Year to 2019

    By Simpleatsh
Been a long time OneDrive User since it was called SkyDrive, been overall satisfied with the quality of Microsoft's sync client on different platforms. Eager to try the differencial sync feature of this new build, and will report back on the improvement. But, somebody from the development team, please, please change the copywrite year in the about screen to 2019 already.
  • Ver Unstable

Every other day when I start my Mac, the system signals that it cannot be opened. There's no way of making it work unless you delete it, do a download and then reinstalling the app.

  • Can't say enough. I love it

I have nothing negative to say about OneDrive. It is flawless and I love Microsoft 365 for Mac. Minor things I would like to see them add but it just keeps getting better.
  • Finder Extension leaks memory like a sieve

    By @urbananimal
OneDrive on the Mac has been plagued with memory leaks. The latest version 19.103.0527.003 fixed most of them in the main process, but the finder extension (used to share files) still will consome all of your memory and you will either have to restart OneDrive or disable the Finder extension. It seems to grow worse with online collaboration in O365 with work colleagues.
