The synths in this app are amazing, and overall it’s probably the best app for sounds. I just want to know why when you use it as an inter-app for its sounds, why can’t we use its chords mode? That’d be an update I’d like to see because I like using the pre-made chords
  • Cool app for sho... until you start to edit.

I really enjoy this app for the most part. All the gadgets work well, are fun to use and sound great. Here are some things that I think need to be implemented: Piano roll to follow cursor. Right now I have to manually scroll to keep up with the cursor. No fun. Be able to place the cursor in piano roll and start from there, instead of always having to start from the beginning. For editing, this is crucial and editing is where electronic music is made. No cursor placement makes this app tedious and time-consuming to edit the piano roll. No fun. Tapping on a note in the piano roll to equal play the note instead of deleting it. Long press can be delete note. As it stands, it’s way too easy to delete notes in the piano roll. Too much time spent redoing notes I never meant to delete. No fun. The piano roll is where most of the song writing action takes place. The way it stands, it’s way too time consuming to be productive. I’m good for about 30 minutes before I just get frustrated, quit the app and update this review. The above fixes I think would up the productivity level to the point of actually producing good music instead of just doinking around. Have the transport controls visible when a gadget is in full screen mode. Right now I have to bounce in and out of the gadget full screen to access the play, stop and record buttons. This is an easy fix and would, once again, up the productivity level of this app. To be able to slide the keyboard up and down note by note in the gadgets instead of octave by octave. I sometimes need a few notes above the octave as well as the current octave. As it stands I have to make the keyboard smaller to get the notes I want instead of just being able to slide the keyboard a few notes up or down. These updates would make this app a lot more functional on many levels and I think many people would be using it a lot more as well. Thanks
  • I LOVE Korg Gadget!

I do own all the Korg apps, but Gadget gets about all my attention anymore. Yes, many times I wish it wasn’t such a closed environment, but it’s still a very fun music creation app. Hope it never loses support!
  • Oh how i love this app. However...

Oh how i love this app! However.....it needs a gadget that allows you to chop samples. Like really chop samples IE mpc style. I would give this app 7 stars if i could but if they add a chop sample gadget, there would be no stopping this app! Also, Zurich is cool. But, a full fledged audio track is needed... a fully functional MIXER would be awesome as well! i repeat.. if you add these features... it will become THE number one app dwarfing BM3! PLEASE ADD A FULL FUNCTIONAL SAMPLER GADGET FOR HIP-HOP PRODUCERS!
  • Fantastic app

I opened Darwin, started adding fx like eq next to volume knob, slid my finger somehow and the channel is now stuck completely panned left, there is no volume knob or output, and an fx option called (channel strip..) was what I saw... now I can’t open any of my other songs, I can’t start a new one, and every time I try to delete the whole device or open a new or old song it shuts out the app I open it back up to the same screen and the device I just deleted is now back even though I deleted the entire song off my iPad............. now I’m just wondering if I will get my songs back if I back them to iCloud and reinstall the app or get a new iPad if it’s that.......?.. thanks for huge inconvenience..

This was my first musical digital audio workstation/type app. Learning curve is very easy, absolutely perfect samples and sound, autonomy is an understatement compared to other apps. If you are looking for a musical sand box, music exercise and even respectable results....this one has it all. Pro: everything Con: Expensive but there is more than enough to get started
