  • One of My Favorite Weather Apps

This is one of my favorite weather apps, with a unique way of viewing weather & weather trends. I have 15 weather apps on my phone, but only 2 stay in my Control Center: Weather Line and Perfect Weather.
  • Limited To Nine Preset Locations

    By Anthony Park
Weather Line is pretty nicely designed and I certainly appreciate the minimal aesthetics, however there are a few shortcomings. The major one is that you are limited to just nine saved locations. This is apparently, according to the developer, because they are billed for lookups of weather data and and they wish to (understandably) keep these costs to a minimum. However it leads to a very unsatisfying experience if you need to see weather in more locations if you travel a lot. I've found myself having to delete locations and re-add regularly which is a total hassle. Better management of the weather lookups behind the scenes would mitigate any extra costs and make for a nicer user experience. With a few relatively simple tweaks, this could be a perfect minimal weather app.
  • Runs sideways on iPad-useless!

    By ToborThe8Man
I have a 12.9” iPad Pro with attached keyboard that I normally use in Landscape mode. The Weather Line app only runs in Portrait mode, which means I either have to use it sideways, or unplug my keyboard, physically rotate the screen to Portrait mode, and replug/re-rotate when done, no thanks! If it ran in Landscape mode would be a great app, but running only sideways is terrible
  • Why so inaccurate?

    By andampersand
Great UI but why so inaccurate? It’s currently raining out but this app says it’s only cloudy. Not as accurate as the Dark Sky app, or even the built-in weather app. Come on

Please add UV index on the widget with a decent font SIZE.. I wish he told me the visibility for the day Dark mode would been nice as well
  • Consistently VERY wrong

    By fossilrabbit
The forecast on this app diverged wildly from other weather forecasting sources a few days ago regarding the storm we are experiencing right now, Avery. I live in a tricky spot just East of some mountains in VA, true, but I am nonetheless surprised by how wrong the forecast was and is on this app. Why does every other source get it right but this one? All other sources say wintery mix turning into rain for several hours. On this app we’re supposed to be experiencing 9 to 14 inches of heavy snow! Even now as the rain comes down the app insists it’s heavy snow; not just snow, but heavy snow. There isn’t a flake in sight. This is the final straw in a long line of wild divergences. Will be deleting this useless app.
  • Best weather app for me

    By RDyson213
I purchased this along with Dark Sky. I vastly prefer the interface on Weather Line. The only improvement I really wish for is the ability to set alerts so I can know when rain is coming, like in Dark Sky.
  • Great. Waiting for the update.

Great App. I love this app. But like everything it will evolve. I’m excited for the next phase of its evolution.
  • Best on iPhone, but no iPad support

    By Raygan
Easily my favorite weather app on iPhone, but I’ve had to find another option for iPad. Weather Line has great data and represents it in a way that I find really easy to parse at a glance. Hoping for an iPad update someday even if it’s just a basic layout.
  • Finally an update. But still inaccurate

    By uinazi
Unquestionably beautiful. But suffers from the weaknesses of the Dark Sky weather source. Highly touted source with supposed hyper accurate local forecast is actually neither, and continues to disappoint even after several years of customers complaining.
