  • Do not use cash app, they can loose or take your money and the have no accountability

    Don’t use cash app they are a 3rd party with no accountability. Their is no one to talk to if you have a problem that actually has the authority to fix a real world problem. They have no accountability if they loose your money. They give you account and routing numbers that will tack your money and not show if it’s deposited if it being sent from a traditional bank, instead of using the app to transfer back-and-forth between the app. He gives you instructions that you can send money from another bank that’s not using the app directly deposited using that routing and account number but it’s not true. I know this firsthand because my father sent me$500usd this way and and we provided proof via the bank that sent information showing both account numbers both names of the parties my dad and myself I presented this three times to cash app support and they still denied that it was ever done and I haven’t got any resolution if you check them out on the better business website you will see that there are thousands of complaints tens of thousands and most of them are relating to the lack of resolution because there’s no management that you can actually talk to you to help you figure out your unique situation they only communicate via email and you can tell that they do not care about their customers.

    I had 99.99 taken out of my account got told to wait after the first month of waiting they sent me 9.99 and never said anything about getting the rest of my money back I’ve had to get ahold of them each month since and it’s still the same thing they want to send me 9.99 but that don’t cover the money they took and now they won’t answer my messages i don’t recommend cash app

    Someone hacked into my account and cashapp refuses to give refund . They denied the dispute and ask for evidence but will not tell you what kind of evidence to submit for a transaction you did not make . It’s very frustrating!

    I love using Cash App. However, support is not the best. I spoke with an agent that was unhelpful and I had to ask for further clarification because of their typos.

  • High Yield Savings is a Scam

    Support chat might as well not exist they are not much help at all. I think the high yield savings is also maybe a scam because I have been doing every single thing I need to do to get it since February 2024, and still haven’t seen my first interest payment. Support told me I would get it April 1 but it’s the 18th now and nothing. Then I was told by a different chat person that I have to verify my W-9 to get my interest but I do not even have a W-9 and support will not tell me how to get one. I am not a freelancer, I got a W-2 and even filed my taxes with cashapp (that was SUPER easy by the way) and they are STILL saying I need to verify my W-9 to get the high yield savings??? How could I file my taxes with you all and you still need a W-9 to verify backup withholding? You saw allllllllll my info. If the W-9 is really necessary for high yield, PLEASE tell me where to get one or send it to me to fill out because it isn’t at my job. All in all, I would really like to switch all my savings over to a different company with a high yield savings account but in order to satisfy the requirement with cashapp, I did get part of my paychecks to be direct deposited into Cashapp from my job :/ so if I went somewhere else, I’d have to yet again change my direct deposit with my job. Just probably go somewhere else. Use venmo instead to transfer to your friends and put your other money in a real bank account. Gave 3 stars because I’m still using cashapp and will keep using it just because I already have it unless I don’t get my interest by June 1 2024.
