  • Events aren’t fair unless you pay money GAME should not be in the FREE category

Been a number of events I finished completely and didn’t get the final reward. It supposed to be a free game by law don’t have pay to get the prizes if you need all the case history I be happy to supply with that information. Which is not hard find in the 21 Century.

Love this game. I play it all the time. Still learning, this is the first game I have played in my life, I'm 65. I like it a lot.

Been playing for close to a decade but it stopped being fun a lot time ago. I stay involved because of my current guild mainly & bc of all the layers of work & time put into building a city. The regular events like weekly expeditions take a lot of time & resources but the ‘prizes’ don’t equate to the effort. It asks for more & more of your resources as you grow but gives back very little. It’s a bit of a joke really. Also they missed so many marketing opportunities it sure how they’ve kept going for so long. At least one can say it’s not just a money grab. It it does demand time.

This has to be the best game I’ve ever played. Its always kept my interests with all the new updates and excitements of aging up. I would highly recommend this game to some one who enjoys a committed gaming experience.

Update 4/3/24 The blatant cheating continues. Support continues to ignore it. Update 3/4/24 The developer response suggests I contact support. Had they actually read the review, they would see that there was repeated contact with support and support did absolutely nothing. The cheating continues. My response to the developers is to tell support to enforce the rules. Push and Alt accounts are against the rules… enforce the rules or the biggest cheaters in the game also become the top players and top guilds. That makes this a game that any competitive person should avoid playing. Update 2/13/24 The blatant cheating continues and the moderators continue to do nothing. The developers don’t even comment on this review or care to investigate. —— Once upon a time, the game was fun. However, the unfair play has become unbearable and the moderators do nothing about it. Example: Multiple accounts all feed Forge Points (millions of Forge Points… yes, millions) to a single account. The accounts also set fake sieges so the main account can fight 5,000+ battles in a day to gain ranking points. The accounts have been reported repeatedly over several years (years!) and the moderators have continued to allow it. Apparently, since it is allowed to continue, whatever is going on is within the rules. It is impossible to compete against this level of allowed unfairness and many players have quit because of it. In my opinion, three things could be happening. First, the moderators could be too incompetent to figure out what’s really going on. Next, the moderators simply don’t care about what’s really going on. Lastly, this level of unfairness is actually within the rules. The rules are written to make it sound like what’s going on is against the rules, so if you dare try to emulate the same gameplay, you risk getting banned. All of these things make for a terrible gaming experience. So, how does someone report this? … you file a ticket with the moderators. The moderators investigate and end up doing nothing. So, how do you report a moderator for incompetence or purposely not doing their job? You can’t. All reports go back to the same moderators that are allowing this to continue. When you ask for a higher level of support, you are told there is none. Instead, you are told to go to the Inno Games contact page to get in touch with Inno Games directly. That message then gets completely ignored. I recommend finding a different game, but if you really want to play this game, just play for free. Trying to actually compete against this level of unfairness is not worth your time or money. Nobody should waste another dime on this game and everyone that has spent money to try to compete fairly should ask for a refund.

This game is amazing and I love to play when I’m bored the only thing is that it gets really hard to fight the other side after a while because there people keep getting better then my side so then they’re always guaranteed the win
  • Expensive Game to Play

FOE is an entertaining game to play but, if you’re going to get anywhere in this game, it’s going to cost you several hundreds of dollars in the long run. All of the games algorithms seem to be designed to separate a player from all of his assets as quickly as possible. There are also many many glitches in the software which always seem to deny or short a player from achieving the most from their hard earned play. If you are a retired individual on a fixed income or a young person who should be building a 401K for your future retirement in my opinion, this game isn’t for you. These are strictly my opinion and I’m telling you as I see it but, I’m trying to be as honest and helpful as I can be to new or prospective players. I do play and I have been for a while now and yes, I’ve spent a lot of money. In good conscience I can “NOT” recommend this game.
