  • No way to improve

There is no way to learn how to play. Heard of manuals? How do you gather supplies, or fight? How do you do anything? The most boring game ever.
  • Overly coin operated

The game is soooo slow. The worst overly coin operated game I have seen. I don’t mind paying, but this game would cost you $50 a day to keep it moving.
  • Plundering is obnoxious

Game could be great if those who wanted to plunder/be plundered could just fight amongst themselves. I have no desire to steal someone else’s stuff, so I don’t see why I have to be attacked. I just want to opt out of that portion instead of having higher level players prey on weaker/newer players. Leaves me disliking the game that already had me on the fence because of how hard it is to progress without paying money.
  • My opinion

It’s a good game, can take a long time to move through the upper levels and great buildings are almost unachievable if you aren’t willing to buy diamonds. My biggest complaint is the constant updates.

Great game but you need to make it easier to edit/build your cities it's very annoying to try and move and shift buildings around, city editing should be easier/more fluid, also great building blue prints are broken, I collect the same blue print pieces a 1000 times and when I trade them I only get ones i already had...

edit: been >1 year now. Still love it. Cool game. The more I play, the more I love it. Graphics are great. The idea of progressing through the different ages and materials is very cool. You can play a couple of different strategies. You dont have to attack and plunder and you don't need to buy diamonds to play either. I do here and there to support the game but progressed fine without. It's frustrating to get plundered by someone way stronger than you up all night playing. But the devs seem to have done a good job matching up levels in the neighborhood. Maybe not allowing people to plunder you if they are a certain level beyond you might help so you’re not always losing battles to people you have no chance of winning against. Also, it would be cool if you could get anti-plunder spells or something. I really like the element of the ages and would like to see more historical references included to make the story more interesting. Its my fave game now.
  • Great Idea, Sometimes Poor Performance

The concepts in this game are great except two things: 1) The game is advertised as a strategy game but it’s really a game of chance. Many games have a store where one can trade in coins, gems, whatever but in this game there’s nothing equivalent and you usually win a chance to win something rather than the something. 2) The game is extremely slow, glitchy, laggy during high use times. The game sits and sits or boots you out or screens don’t update and show that you’re actually being attacked which is very frustrating when you’re sitting there watching and trying to defend. You have to constantly refresh or flip between screens during these times in order to get them to update. This happens a lot at daily recalc, a critical play time. If the game were more strategy and less chance and it worked right at times the games makes critical, it would be a great game.

When I down loaded the game it said I would receive an extra 250 diamonds, just go to my email. The confirmation email was received but then informed me it was too late to receive them. Felt gyped. This is a game of patience, goals and planning how to achieve them. Would like to be able to earn diamonds or buy them with the coins earned or battles won.
