I have a small company that we operate over the summer in middle of the winter, I signed up to high school Pro but now it’s already starting the summer and I never got my zoom meeting and the set up for the software and my customers are getting angry because there’s no scheduling or billing Ect I’m paying a lot of money and I really feel that this whole thing is a scam

The app is slow. It’s hard to find items and customers because you have to be precise on how you type your entry. You need to type it exactly as how you logged into the file.
  • Poor customer service

We have been with HCP for a while now. Other then the minor issues that arose every so often it was fine. Then one day a customer disputed a charge and that’s when everything came to a halt. All customer payments they collect are on hold. The dispute was for $1,300 and they took that out of the account without prior notification. Then they also hold on to all payments on top of it. When you call them they can not or flat out refuse to help you. You can’t talk to a manager, you can’t get anyone to help you. So all payments are collected by them and they will not transfer them to you. They do use stripe for processing these payment and stripe is having financial issues lately. I would recommend using a different CRM. Probably one that values their customers as much as you value yours.
  • No support for paying clients

I spent hours setting up a profile on this app and kept getting asked to verify my information to receive payments through the app. Contacted customer support after two weeks of waiting for them to verify my EIN. Customer service staff told me tech support doesn’t use phones and won’t call me to go over the issue. The app is tedious and my customers aren’t able to submit deposits. There’s no way to get anyone at Housecall to care about your problems unless it involves upselling you on one of their many paid services and once they get your money they aren’t interested in helping anymore. Just another bloated California tech startup that over promises and fails to deliver the service and support they guarantee at sign up. Don’t waste your time with these clowns.

My website looks incomplete and unfinished, takes too long to get help and they kept charging me every two weeks instead per month.
  • Don not get

Does not get you any leads and is not very user friendly. I had to spend an hour just to do one thing on the app. It is also $169 a month and limits how many employees you can have on the app.
  • New SPAM platform

My company has been using Housecall Pro for nearly a year, and our journey with this software has been a mix of efficiency and frustration. For the most part, the platform has served us well, offering convenience and a range of features that genuinely made our daily operations smoother. The interface is mostly intuitive, and the range of functionalities it provides has been beneficial in managing our service calls and customer interactions. However, our overall positive experience took a significant hit due to an incident that occurred recently. We started receiving spam messages through the platform, which was more than just a minor inconvenience; it disrupted our workflow and raised concerns over security and spam protection measures in place. Expecting support and a prompt solution, we reached out to Housecall Pro's customer support, only to be met with disappointment. The response was dismissive at best, advising us to simply ignore the spam messages without offering any real solution or showing any intent to address the underlying issue. This lack of support and accountability is concerning and reflects poorly on their customer service and how they value their users. It's disheartening when a company, especially one that provides services to businesses, shows little to no interest in resolving an issue that affects its customers' operations. The response, or lack thereof, from Housecall Pro's customer support was not only unhelpful but also left us feeling neglected and frustrated. It suggests a possible oversight in their system's security measures against spam, which is a significant concern for any business relying on digital tools for their operations. The incident has led us to reconsider our use of Housecall Pro. While the software itself offers a range of helpful features, the lack of adequate support and action against spam messages is a major drawback. The experience has tarnished our view of the company, and moving forward, we are likely to explore other software options that offer not only good functionality but also reliable customer support. In conclusion, Housecall Pro has its strengths in terms of features and usability, but this incident has highlighted a critical area where it falls short - customer support and spam protection. A software solution for businesses should not only enhance operational efficiency but also provide reliable support to its users. Unfortunately, based on our recent experience, Housecall Pro has room for improvement in these areas. We hope this feedback will encourage Housecall Pro to take customer concerns more seriously and to strengthen their systems and support services.
  • Long time customer

When it works it’s great. But when you need technical support not so much. I’ll be looking into other options
  • Service rate increases, poor customer care.

Initially, my experience with Housecall Pro was positive, with excellent customer care and reasonable pricing. However, over the past few years, I’ve observed a significant decline in their services. It appears that Housecall Pro has hired numerous underqualified individuals for diversity purposes. Consequently, my service rates have skyrocketed, with a minimum monthly charge of $100 to host my website with an additional charge of $75 for the use of the app. Despite their claims of providing search engine optimization, the lack of transparency regarding their methods is concerning. The unjustifiable rate increase has led me to seek alternatives for my business needs, and I cannot recommend Housecall Pro as a result.
