  • Where have you been all my life!

This is absolutely AMAZING! I’ve been hacking my way through guitar for 20+ years. Finally decided to sit down and actually LEARN the instrument better. True fire is just phenomenal for an intermediate player like myself. How is familiar with various aspects of guitar but notch rally proficient with any of it. I can choose my own path and finally get top notch lesson on all the things I’ve missed or improperly learned along the way! Worth it! But it and subscribe you won’t regret it!

Each package is a complete tutorial. Supporting documentation is also great.

$20 a month for all the lessons you need, Awesome! Having to pay to download them (only streaming is free), not so much. Wish it worked like Apple a music or Spotify, where you can download whatever you want so long as you check in once a month to “authorize” your downloads (prove you still have an account). Other than that, this is great.

This app has helped me start playing guitar again. I struggled with music theory in my younger years and now, with the help of True Fire, I have a STRUCTURED way to learn! I love this app and use it daily for practice!

The more I use this, the less I like it. I purchased the “all access” membership, but the app assumes I am unregistered user and only allows me to see the free portions of any class. If I wish to actually take a course I need to exit the app and load the class on my browser. It truly detracts from what I hoped would be an enjoyable experience.

Excellent app and courses. I really helped me get back into playing with confidence and learning far more styles and techniques than I ever even though of. I love the price also.
  • Fantastic Resource

If you are an aspiring musician searching for a path to excellence, here it is....and from a 100 different points of view. You just watch a couple dozen of these video intros, find some style/approach that resonates with you and tear it up. The yearly subscription is the way to go if you’re a player who picks up the guitar every friggin day. My only criticism is the Truefire app not entirely compatible with the iPad.
  • List of segments/lessons in each course lags a lot

    By ASqueege
Even with the newest iPad the list of lessons on the left side of the page when you go to a course lags so much it’s almost a useless feature. Please fix.

Thanks TrueFire. After searching out instructor Reeves Gabrels, I discovered lessons on TrueFire that were more to my level. and I've been excited once again! With TrueFire you can jump right in from any level and start learning more and more. Instructions are very easy to understand and main focus is on building your guitar skills. My guitar learning has been REVIVED!
