I’ve been tuning drums for over 50 years. I can change both about her head in the Resort Head on all four of my Tom’s and tune them, and less time than it took me to tune the first two drums with this app. But that doesn’t mean it’s not useful what I mean by that is, although I tune by ear, it is nice to be able to record the tune and hold it in memory so next time I change the heads, I have the tuning definitions right in front Of me. The tutorial could be a little longer and maybe a little more in depth and actually explaining to people what a fundamental Tony is, may help, also suggesting intervals are OK but how about explaining the intervals in how you got them or how people perceive them. I usually use a piano, if you don’t have access to one, you can download one.Maybe explaining what a perfect fourth is or a perfect fit or tuning the drum heads to the same frequency what that does to residence and how you can to the Head’s to different tensions and keep the same note. I think a little explanation of these things can go a long way and people who are just beginning instead of just looking at numbers we’re losing something here with this app and people are starting to lose their ear. As far as listening that’s something that’s developed over the years and we need to hold onto that as drummers. Otherwise, I think the app is really nice. I think the first time I sent a rating in I didn’t give it a good rating as far as a frowny face or whatever you call it but that was a mistake so you can forget that one you guys have done a good job maybe a little moreNotes as far as intervals, go and frequencies. Thank you very much you guys have a wonderful weekend.

Can’t even get the app to stay open long enough to begin using it. After purchasing, logging in and selecting which tom to tune, the screen only stay open for tuning for about two seconds, and then shuts off. I tried multiple times. Finally I shut down my phone started it back up and still no success whatsoever. iPhone 8 Plus. Every time I start to use it, the app immediately goes blank and goes back to my home screen. What a waste of time and money I highly UN-recommend this app.

I have had a lot of success using this app to tune my drums. I’m a fairly decent at tuning drums and I know what sounds good but this app has shown me where my skills break down. It has made my tuning significantly more consistent for each drum itself and the intervals between drums. It can be a bit finicky with fine tuning each lug but patience and persistence provide excellent results. I think the kit / my drums organization could be improved and it does take some work to understand how the app works so 4/5.
  • DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!

Crashes anytime you attempt to use the tuner. Most times you can’t even open the app for the other features.
  • Solid app!! It’s worth the money.

I was a little skeptical that this would actually work well, but considering a good drum tuner is close to $100 I figured it was worth a try. I’m glad I did. Solid app and it really does a great job. Occasionally, it might have a weird reading but it’s really not an issue.
  • Crashes every time I open it…

I would love to get a legitimate review for this app, but I can’t even open it. So for that I’m giving it one stars because I don’t even know what it will or will not do.
  • A great tool for tuning!

I really like this app. I use a Drum Dial to get my lugs evenly tensioned then use the app to get the heads in tune. I’ve gotten compliments from drummers and sound guys alike about how good my kit sounds. And I don’t have a super expensive kit. Time, effort and good heads will get you a great sounding kit at most price points. This app helps big time!

This app doesn’t work. My drums never sounded worse. I’m mad that I wasted $12 on this. I followed every step and every video. It reads the Hz inconsistently. With a 32nd of a turn, the pitch the app hears can go from -13 to + 35. Even if you do get every lug with in .5hz the heads are still way out of tune. The fundamental notes in correct. Don’t waste your money like I did
  • Does not work on IPhone 6

Before you say anything I followed the instruction and I have used my friends phone before(and it worked that time) so this is not a user error. I have a old iPhone6 and this app does not work at all on the phone. I purposefully tune one lug to the highest it can get and tune another lug completely loose. Even my tonedead drummer ear can still tell those two are not the same but the app keeps telling me that it is. I can even feel the unequal tension with my hand on the drum head but the app still tells me that those two lugs sounds the same. A bit disappointing since I know the app works but it seems it does not support iPhone 6.
