Description

Bushel Farm (formerly FarmLogs) gives farmers both a ground-level and big-picture view of their farm’s operational and financial performance. Unlike multiple spreadsheets or messy notebooks, Bushel Farm organizes and centralizes an array of farm records - field maps, rainfall and satellite imagery, scouting notes, equipment, activities and inputs, grain sales and inventories, land agreements, work orders, and more. Powerful automation within the tool transforms farm records into valuable insights that farmers can use to plan and make decisions on their own or share with their grain buyers, agronomists, bankers, insurance providers, and other trusted farm partners. Insights include: cost of production; marketing position; profitability of grain sales; and profit and loss at the farm, crop, and field level. Integrations with John Deere® Operations Center and Climate FieldView® reduce the burden of manual entry for farmers, allowing seamless imports of field activities and input data. Farmers also have the ability to share field boundary shapefiles and field activity records from Bushel Farm, electronically rather than manually, for sustainability programs. Bushel’s data permission controls are built into the platform to ensure data privacy and sharing only when properly authorized by Bushel Farm users. Making better management decisions has never been easier. Download the app today and start a free trial. Questions or Concerns? Visit our support page or contact us at [email protected]. I used to mainly use farm logs to track rainfall. The older app was affordable for rainfall tracking in our fields. Now it costs hundreds of dollars to have the same feature. Not worth, it the new company has become greedy with money. Bring back the old pricing and I will change my review.

Love field mapping and the rainfall content. Helpful to determine where to work in the field, which saves a lot of time.
  • Forcing customers to pay for service after changing names

I’ve had farm logs for several years simply to monitor rainfall on food plots at our hunting property since I live 2.5 hours away from it. No charges and it was user friendly. Now all of a sudden there’s this change and I can’t access my previously selected fields or rainfall information without paying a fee for usage. There was no information that I’m aware of sent to me indicating this change especially now a payment for use. I don’t mind paying for services but being forced in this manner, NO THANKS. I’ll choose another option since I wasn’t important enough to be informed of the changes until I simply couldn’t access my account.

I’ve been using this app for years and years for free just to check rainfall at my house and business then they changed and now suddenly they want me to pay $79 a year just to see the rainfall amounts? Typical like so many other companies looking for a way to charge people for something that used to be free. Now I’ve lost my properties because I’m not paying for something I’ve been getting free for years. I found another app called Raindrop that’s just as accurate if not more accurate so thanks for nothing Bushel Farms.

I don’t even remember what the original version was called but I had it for the last 5 years, it was always reliable, now since it’s been changed to bushel barn there has been numerous changes and not for the better, the latest change is charging for app use, I don’t see an option to run it with ads or I would.

When it was Farmlogs loved the app! When they sold out to Bushel farms is all changed. Rain amounts not even close to accurate. Now they are charging $75 a year to get inaccurate rain totals. Delete if app.

I’ve used this App since it was Farmlogs. It was great to monitor food plots for hunting purposes, in addition to the rainfall feature. And it was free with a subscription option. Bushel bought Farmlogs out at some point, and now sometime after that, Bushel only offers subscriptions. I will now be uninstalling after using the app for a number of years.

I’ve had this app for several years. Now, I’m seeing a banner stating the free app will start charging on Aug. 28, 2023. I don’t think so, I will be deleting the app. If I want to know how much rain has fallen I will install a rain gauge in my backyard.
