Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Other factors such as the phone's temperature, battery health, and other apps running in the background can also affect battery performance. All-day battery life was tested on an iPhone 5.

Used this app on a recent trip to Telluride. It’s terrific. I’m amazed how precisely it tracks my runs and the performance feedback will help me push past my comfort zone. Excellent customer support too when I had a sync issue.

This app is amazing for tracking distance, runs, and total distance! Definitely recemend
  • It’s ok nothing special....

Doesn’t track anything extra but I do like that it links in nicely with the Apple Watch. The calorie counter is completely inaccurate. Speed is right on par though. Doesn’t track jumps, lame!!
  • Great App! Great Support!

Love the app. Love the features. Love that the developer responded to a question I had professionally and immediately. I liked the layout of the summary screen on another app I tried a little bit more, but not enough to dock stars off this review or keep me from using the app. Didn’t think skiing could be more fun, but this app does.
  • Flawless

This app works great! Syncs quickly from the watch, finds resort automatically, adds data to health kit and tracks very reliably. Can’t ask for anything more
  • Very Misleading!

Boarded for two full days while recording on my watch, when I got home I could only view my runs from the first day on the phone app... It required premium purchase to view my second day, which was never mentioned. The speed, distance, and elevation data available for the second day was garbage because it kept running after I drove away from the mountain. My watch told me I could edit and view routes on my phone, so that’s what I tried to do! I feel weirdly used that I had to waste/giveaway all my data and battery, for data I can’t even use in return.
  • Great app I recommend it to snowboarders and skiers

I am in big sky Montana with great snow and good conditions and the app works well. The app senses lifts, top speeds, elevation, number of runs, and miles snowboarding or skiing. Great app. I recommend it to snowboarders and skiers.

Amazingly accurate and easy to use. I loved watching the reply of my trip on the 3D map. Only negative is cost.

I have been happily using Slopes for three ski seasons. This season using the Apple Watch (even my old series one) makes it even more convenient. It gives a great record of my day, and my whole season. Well worth the fee for the annual pass. I can use it all day without it killing my iPhone or watch battery. Even better, any inquiry to the developer gets answered immediately - try that with some huge company!
