Description

Image Resizer Deluxe is an easy and powerful tool to quickly resize and rename large numbers of photos to reduce their size, and make them ready to be sent over email or posted on the web. You can also rotate, crop, add watermarks, make colour alterations and adjust the brightness and contrast of all your images at once. The interface is very easy to use and supports the dragging and dropping of images into the program which speeds up conversions of huge batches significantly compared to browsing to each file. It supports a lot of formats including JPEG2000. The batch renaming and resizing utility also saves you work and time by automatically renaming images in sequential order. Features: * Resize, rename, crop and rotate pictures in batches * Rename photo files using sequential numbers * Convert pictures in batch mode: JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF and JPEG2000 * Add text, watermarks and border effects * Change color depth and apply color effects * Apply any operation to all files in a folder * Preview any operation before you make changes * E-mail converted pictures * Archive converted files * Load and save settings * Drag-and-Drop support Your feedback would greatly help us release new versions and make the application even better! • Ratio issues

Hey guys, I only have one issue with this app. What I wanted was the images to all be 900px wide, but the ratios to stay the same. So vertical images the shorter side would be 900px and horizontal images the longer side would be 900px. The app couldn’t do that for me. I’m disappointed!

The app always crashes and occurs errors, and then it closed especially when trying to convert more than 3 or 4 images. Please fix this !!!!! Using on MacBook 2015, OS X El Capitan v10.11.1 (Until now using v10.11.3 still have the same bugs)

I love this app, perfect for simple re-sizing pictures. I sell on eBay and Craigslist and use this exclusively. Would definintly recommend.
  • Does what it promises and does it well

The app does everything it promises. I have not tested the batch mode yet, but expect to have a use for it soon, as well. Right-clicking on an image and resizing it in under 20 seconds is awesome. Only minor quibble: the user interface is not very clean or clear. Settings you need only rarely are mixed in with settings you need every time, for example. Also, would like sticky option to write to a new file name instead of overwriting existing file. Still highly recommended.

I have finally converted over to 100% Mac and this program was a great addition to the final transition. Everything works flawlessly and very easy to use. I would like to see the developers make two changes; when naming a file give more text space as it is limited to using long file names and once you have resized the the images the app wont let you use the files in the drag and drop box more than once (you need to delete the files and reload them). Neither issues are a big thing. Overall, the app is woth every penny and it is perfect for my needs. Opposed to the other user who said the app crashed; I never experienced that condition. It has been very stable on my iMac and Mac Pro. The develpers did a great job and I look forward to future upgrades…..
  • couldn't import TIFFs

I take a lot of screenshots with Grab (comes with OSX), but this app doesn't allow you to import TIFFs even though the description mentions TIFFs. So I played around with a JPG. The alterations (example resize, crop, border) weren't showing in the preview, then when I clicked the run button to apply the settings the app crashed.
