  • Just Bots, not ready for prime-time.

I had high hopes for this. I had trouble getting a response from my coach, and I said in a message I needed more information about how the program worked or I would have to cancel. Then BOOM! I was canceled! Apparently the system searches your messages for “cancel” and will cancel automatically. If you get Noom you will burn a lot of calories being angry at NO support!
  • Game changer

This weight lost program is the best I have every been a part of! It is something I will be able to do for the rest of my life and not feel deprived of the foods I love.
  • You owe it to yourself!

    By Bocrig
I have always avoided any weight loss program that required a fee. I was in the mindset that I did not want to pay another to lose my extra weight. Obviously my mindset failed to work as I wasn’t accountable, justified reasoning to detour the scales, made poor choice after poor choice in meals while thinking, I’ll start tomorrow. Saw a couple of Noom advertisements and noting they mix a great deal of psychology and retraining your mindset, my interest peaked a bit. It’s an amazing program that challenges those ingrained eating habits along with so many myths that it becomes encouraging and exciting. So, while I’m moving away from my paying to lose weight thought process... I’m learning that I have invested in my health. Who can put a price on that???
  • Need help

I don’t carry my phone with me all the time. I DO always have my Apple Watch on. It won’t sinc to the Noom step counter. Therefore, line yesterday, I walked 10,000 steps according to my watch but only 7,000 dyes on the Noom tracker. Can’t you fix this? Also, how do I track my bp and my blood sugar? Katie Gordy

  • If you actually care about your customers...

As you imply you do in the app, change your absurd subscription policy. Just received a lovely $99 bill for an app I’ve never used & never planned to after downloading and realizing it’s not as solid as the one I’ve been using. It’s sketchy how the subscription doesn’t show up under your App Store subscription tab & they apparently* only cancel if you send a message - but that was never ever ever made clear unless you went outside the app to the website and searched the help thing. Yes, I could have been more thorough but I, as most other users probably, have better things to do than search through this company’s website. The whole point of using apps for things like this is simplicity & convenience... But this wasn’t where I usually unsubscribe so I assumed deleting it would be adequate. If you’re going to have a policy that’s outside normal parameters / app etiquette, be extra upfront about it or just be kind about it when people get confused! Don’t be so greedy. :(
  • Sneaky membership charges

    By RobbedNMad
They charge you for 8 months of membership at a time, which is about $160. They sell the app as a month-to-month thing, but paying for 8 months worth of membership, with a no refund policy in place, feels like a scam to me, and to my wallet. Very sneaky, not cool at all. On top of that, to cancel your membership, you have to go through the app and through your “goals coach”, thus waiting for someone to reply to you (and try talking you into staying). They could have a quick and easy “cancel my membership” option on their website, but nope! Gotta make that part hard, too.
  • Unclear

It’s very unclear on how you cancel . It also gave me a whole other price then what it first said !!! I want to cancel but don’t know how to?!? Yes please help
  • Can’t log out of app doesn’t sync across devices

    By knitwit62
Am new to Noom and so far I like the articles and concept. I don’t like that the data doesn’t sync across devices. I entered my breakfast info on iPad but now that I’m out and about the meal is not showing on my iPhone. Also, no place to log out of the app so I have to clear app from open apps and I don’t know that it is actually closed. Needs an iPad interface for landscape mode so I can read articles. Maybe I’m the wrong demographic for the program since I saw it is more geared toward millennials? Lastly, for program based on eight years of research it feels “thrown together” in app design and misspellings in articles.
  • It works!

This app is great for teaching me how to make better choices, become more active and determine my triggers for poor eating - and to overcome them! It’s fun and easy to use.
