Description

FM Towers USA is a map of over 8700 FM radio transmitters in the United States. Tap to zoom to your area, and tap again to choose nearby FM Radio Stations, all with frequencies and genre information, and most with FCC contour information so you can see what may be receivable. Please be clear, this is only for locating stations that you pickup with your car or other radio. It is not to actually listen to radio stations; this is not a streaming app! Now comes with search and filtering options, in case you don't care for Classic Hip Hop (or maybe that's all you love), or want to find the nearest Sports Talk station. My previous product, TV Towers USA, found a following amongst RV enthusiasts, and I imagine they'll find this useful too, as well as long haul truckers and others who are looking for a sports radio station in the middle of Iowa.

    I have been on the radio since January of 1973. I do middays 10 to 3 Eastern US. At WKOA Lafayette In. I have always been fascinated with coverage maps of Radio and TV stations. I still engage in a hobby called DXing. Listening to stations broadcasting a long distance from the primary service area. I wish you would add the AM coverage maps to your AM radio app. Thanks and keep it up. We stream but I just love the sound over the air. Bob Vizza WKOA 105.3 FM Lafayette In.

    Generally Helpful app designers have developed three great apps that I use all the time. FM, AM, and TV Towers USA. A hobby of mine is DX'ing, otherwise know as the hobby of tuning in stations broadcasting from distant locations. These apps are very helpful because it shows your location and the location of other transmitters throughout the country. This app has helped me take my hobby to the next level. I also love how it tells me exactly which direction to point my antenna. The app works great and is well worth the pocket change that it cost. If your a radio and television DX'er, this is the app for you. If you travel a lot, this app will also prove to be very helpful in finding a radio or television station that you want to tune in. Great idea and very nice apps . I highly recommend them.

    5 stars just because this is pretty much the only app that does what it does and they update it. I wish you could make the aiming compass bigger though
