The email app is great. But we used google groups to set up an email address for a group of friends. It constantly sends it to spam. Ive done these things 1) added email to contacts 2) marked not spam. 3) updated app Please help
  • Poor spam control

After trying everything imaginable, and having to retrieve regular emails which were in my contacts and the failure of obvious spam entering my inbox, I am done with this app. No help from developers, no answer to questions and no improvement. Recommend any other client app. Update: I was contacted by the developer after my review who offered to assist me. It was a form email. I had to sign up again, after cancellation, to get in contact with them, except for the 800 number. I would have preferred actual text or email assuring me they were addressing the wrong spam issues. It may actually be with the carrier, which is AT&T, which uses Yahoo to handle their email accounts. So … not help there, either. I actually tried to sign back in, once and give them another try. It told me that I was not connected to the internet, which, not surprisingly is also AT&T.

There’s this cool new feature, but it doesn’t work quite right yet. I select an email and it asks if I want to delete all emails from that sender, that’s great! I select it, and it only deletes one email at a time. Please please please make it actually work, it would be such a nice feature. Thank you for trying to add it in the first place though

Beware - You’ll be hit with unwanted ads masquerading as emails in your inbox unless you opt for the paid premium service.

  • Too many ads

Enjoy using yahoo but feel the amount of ads are becoming more frequent. Almost impossible to unsubscribe. If an ad is sending to my email then they don’t need me to put it in again to unsubscribe. What is the recourse for this so they don’t sell my info and keep getting more and more ads???
