  • Hard to End service

    By Ojstaats
I would give zero stars if possible. I should have read the reviews. I spent 30 minutes on hold and finally gave up. I sent an email as well stating in writing that I would like to end my service and they responded within 5 minutes that I would need to call!! This service is for someone who is too lazy to gather recipes on their own and the shopping list is ridiculous because every store has an app now, which not only estimates your total but lets you know about sales.
  • The Best Dinner App

    By afajam
I tried eMeals a while ago when you still had to print out your recipes and shopping list. The app is awesome and generates the shopping list where you can check off items at the grocery store. The menu I chose has super easy meals. My husband says yummy that was so good every night after dinner. That makes me happy. We were in such a food rut before. I am not a big cooker but these meals are so easy. It is almost like hello fresh with half the prep time and you buy your own groceries, or there is the option to send your shopping list to a store that has curb pick up! It doesn’t get any better. Very affordable.
  • Not worth the money.

Most of these recipes you can find for free on cans of soup, pasta boxes, etc.
  • Not helpful for family

    By laurah7810
I gave this app a try at the request of a co worker. I was not impressed I had to go through each of the different meal plans in order to find only 6 meals my family would eat. Then thought I would give it a try to the finish but when I went to import the list to my click list so I could order I had to manually enter each item and most of the time had to rewrite what the app searched for because the search came up with nothing. I stopped trying halfway through my order as it was taking longer then doing it on my own with meals I know my family will eat. Suggestions would be to have a bigger selection of recipes for people to choose from most overlapped categories and even the kid friendly ones weren’t really kid friendly. And work on the transfer of the list from one app to the next, a few things to retype is ok but not over 65 items.
  • Can’t change meal plan in app

    By knewanda
Doesn’t appear to be a way to change meal plans in the app. Poor design.
  • Needs work

Would be a great app if able to pick meals and make own list.
  • EMeals is a lifesaver

    By Alli1971A
This is my lifesaver! This app lets me pick my meals for my shopping list and I head to the store. I mark off items on my phone as I go. I can even add other items to my list. They make it so easy. I love EMeals!
  • Love it but have a suggestion

    By kelbachj9
I love the app and I love every meal I’ve made through emeals. My only suggestion is not to go online to change my meal plan. I am vegetarian and my kids and husband are not so to plan my meals it would be nice to be able to go back-and-forth between plans via the app.
  • Best Life Decision Ever!!

    By Ambiebear2015
We all get it. We hate giving our credit card info for a “free trial” just to find out we hate something and forget to cancel it and three months later wonder where our money is going. NOT WITH THIS. My husband and I work different shifts and have a toddler. Family time is minimal much less meal planning time. We struggle in the grocery store because our son wants this or that or doesn’t want to sit in the cart. Not anymore. I get quality time with my son and our trips to the grocery store last long enough to get our groceries loaded that’s it. So let me give a more detailed explanation so you can decide if it’s right for you. I took a leap of faith and love it. I do not work for this company. Actually I am a Police Dispatcher with ZERO free time. So when you first sign up you decide your term length (right now there is a groupon and I didn’t know so I paid $59.99 for a full year which will be charged after my two week free period. I was sent a text link to download the app which is very user friendly. You select which one of the meal plans you want, then they send you a weeks worth of recipes... Don’t like some of them? Put the ones you like in your shopping cart and look at another subscription, or the previous weeks food choices. Once you pick all 7 or even just 1 recipe(s) you send your list to the store of your choice, mine was Walmart because they are literally up the road about a 3 minute drive. Their website pops up and at the top you see your item then a list of everything matching that in their store you pick what you want the cart adds it up. Checkout, pick your store and time. You will get a text message when your order is ready. You can choose to allow the store to track you via GPS and then they will be waiting outside with your order once you get their. It was GREAT!! Granted you have to trust people to get you nice produce but hey it’s a risk well worth taking. This has relieved so much stress on our family just because we know what’s for dinner and we know we have the stuff for the recipe. We know if certain family members come over we can switch to a diabetic friendly menu etc. Really give it a try. Especially if you don’t have much free time. It truly is as easy as it gets and the best decision I have ever made!
  • Where the iPad app?

    By Lil' beav
We love the service, but you desperately need an iPad app! Telling us to use the phone app on an iPad is not very professional for an app based company such as eMeals.
