    1) I don’t know of any guitarist who practices with the fingerboard displayed verticaly-all positions in sections. 2) Take the huge logo out and put the whole fingerboard there horizontally! Maybe mark positions on that. 3) No notes on the fingerboard! How hard would that be to put a circle with the note inside? They show the root with color! 4) Where am I in the song? No song position markers? I am not a trained musician and trying to follow a jazz progression while working on a leed is hard enough. They give you the chords, but they let you figure out which one is playing. 5) It would be nice to have the arpeggios highlighted for each chord as it was playing. 6) Why can’t I change the size of the app and make it bigger? I download backtracks from youtube, print out the scale for that song and BINGO. Some backtracks show the chords as it is playing and show you the next chord also.
  • Need additional tracks.

The tracks available are OK but there are not that many and a lot of them are a little slow. Would be nice to be able to download additional tracks and to be able to vary the temp of the exsisting tracks. There are easier wys to play lead than to memorize all of these scales. In relaity you nee just two, 1st and 5th and be able to move between them. Then just pick a key. Easy.
  • I like Jam Tracks because of it’s simplicity…

Very helpful… Although, it could use a little more functionality. Chord progressions and scale patterns can't to be viewed at the same time. It’s important to understand the best note choices(chord tones) in relation to the chords. As opposed to just running through scales tones (other than the Root & b5 or Blues note). I do like the Modal tracks…! Other then that… its a great app!

I saw the this app and wonder if the software worked as well as people said. I got a chance to fire it up and was very impressed on the set up. It is great for beginners to experienced players. It helps prevent guitarist getting stuck in “the box” and great for just practicing chords and different rhythm. I love house it should you the chord progression and several different scales within the major and minor keys. I your looking for an app to keep your fingers motorskills up this is the app! Great job and looking forward to new updates.

I bought this when I was startting soloing and its a great way to get started. It teaches you 2 scales: Major and Minor penatonic with blues notes that you can use. It gives you these scales in every key all down the guitar neck. It gives you backing music along with the scales: you can chose between Acustic blues, Humbucker blues, Jazz, Rock, or reggae. you get backing music for the major and minor form in every key. This does a great Job of displaying the various positions the scale can be played on and with further study you and jump from position to position as you please. play around with the scale listen to the rythem and some phrasing then practice soloing and improvising. If you are a more inermidet to advanced player there is not a whole lot for you but if you don't know the platonic scales all the way down the neck or arent that experienced in soloing buy it now.
  • Lots of fun

This is great for those of us still locked into the pentatonic scales….I am waiting for another version that we can use to practice modes…that would be the ultimate and I'd pay alot for that!!!! But this is a great start ;)
