Pretty bummed that this app was not what it could/should be. The right tempo of music is always an issue for me. I have to spend time putting together the right play list and when I heard of this app I wast excited that it might solve all that. I did the trial period to review and loved that there was some fun music, a mix of stations and you can adjust the speed. Then only after a couple of days I was hearing the same songs over and over again. I had to go back to compiling my own play list only days into the trial. No good!

I really love this app! I learned about it at Koko Fitclub because one of the treadmill programs trains you for a 5k. I found that my running ability was getting better but I was getting so bored during the long runs or I would start thinking too much. Even if I could go longer I didn’t feel like it. Once I played my first running playlist I was hooked. I don’t even notice when the 5 minute mark hit because I was so into the song. I always tried with my own playlists but could never find the right mix that kept up with the pace. Plus it has songs I would have never even thought of to put on there. Anyway, long story short, I think this app is genius and I love it and tell all my friends about it. Thanks for making it!

Great App. I love it for my workouts. Whether it’s strength straining, walking the dog, or high intensity interval training, RockMyRun has a mix that will satisfy any mood. However I do have a question regarding the subscriptions. What’s the different between Runrocker Premium & Rockstar Monthly Subscription. Both come at a charge of 4.99 per month. If anyone can help please let me know. Other than that, if you love to feel good, this app is a must!

I love this app! More than playlists for running. RMR has helped me have better quality of workouts because I get easily distracted if my playlist is boring. This app has taken away the stress of worrying about the music being in sync with the speed of my run or other workouts. I've used RMR for strength training, while on the elliptical, warming up and cooling down and even for a more upbeat yoga session. Happy with this one.
  • Much better than Spotify Run

After Spotify killing the Run function, I needed an app to sync my paces with music. This one is the best ever. It not only has genre playlists for each BPM, but it allows me to change the rythm of any music to my own, as well. Thank you very much, guys!

I haven't had any issues whatsoever and love the music selections! Love that you change the tempo and that it also maps out your run when you have your gps selected. I tried a few other apps but kept coming back to this one. Will keep for sure!

I started looking for more workout music in addition to my own list which started to feel old. I googled “best workout music” and it rated RockMyRun as one of the best. I read the users reviews and I got it. I haven’t been using anything else. I like to be able to control the genre, tempo and type of activity, from warm-up to, elliptical, running, walking, etc. I’m really loving it!

I want to love this app, but there are SO many glitches, the most annoying of which is taking the time to create Favorites and having them disappear after nearly every use of the app. Have to delete, reinstall (at least once) and they will typically reappear...but who has time to be doing that constantly?? Reached out to customer support numerous times and while very nice and trying to be helpful, ultimately, nothing was ever resolved. Also consistent issues with GPS tracking and the tempo feature, so I ultimately cancelled the paid subscription. Still trying to use the free version and the Favorites issue is still occurring nearly every day...wish they’d fix all this stuff!
