Description

For toddlers, 1 to 3 years old, learning to touch an iPhone/iPad to get an effect. Comes with 4 colors, birds and corresponding bird songs: - Red Cardinal - Yellow Baltimore Oriole - Blue Blue Jay - Orange Robin Touch one of the colorful houses and a bubble with a bird rises from the house while the corresponding bird song plays. Once it has risen, the bubble hovers over the house until touched. Touch the bubble and a bird image expands and fills the screen. Touch the bird image and it shrinks back into the bubble and the bubble descends into the house. If using all 4 birds, one of the 3 houses will change colors each time the screen is filled with a bird image. Additionally, you can replace one or more bird images with a single image of your own, selected from your iPhone/iPad photo albums. And you can also replace one or more of the bird songs with a single recorded audio message in your own voice. An In App Purchase expands to 9 (from 4) the colors and birds, adding a green parakeet, purple martin, black crow, and white snowy owl, each with their own bird song. Another In App Purchase lets you replace one or more of the bird images with different images selected from your iPhone/iPad photo albums. And you can also replace one or more of the bird songs with recorded audio messages in your own voice. (The free version lets you select only one image from your albums and record only one audio message in your own voice.) Great for toddlers beginning to understand how to interact with an iPhone/iPad. Also helps a young child remember a toy or a visit to Grandma's by recording simple visual images and audio messages. Designed by August.

My grandchildren (1-3 years old) love this app. They are thrilled when they get a response from touching things on the screen. Starting out, the bird sounds are spectacular and the bird images very pretty. We replaced the images with pictures of ‘Mommy’ and ‘Daddy’ and ‘Grammy’ and that makes it even better. We also replaced some of the sounds with our own recordings but went back to the bird calls.
