Description

Snip is a screen-capture application that can capture the active window or custom areas. Drag to zoom in/out the screen shot; add labels, texts and handwriting contents of your choice and save it to your device or the clipboard. 1. Auto-identify windows: Snip can identify windows open automatically. 2. Editable tags: Add tags (rectangle, ellipse and arrow) and texts; and draw with handwriting brushes. You can change the location, size and color.

  • Nonexistent support

    I have emaied a few times. This is a great program and works well. Except for 2 major issues.. Auto load doesn't work and hasn't for quite some time. and, no options different file formats. like JPG, the most used image file format on the internet. Deleting it amd goung to find a more supported product.

  • Dual Screen Issue

    This tool works perfectg if you only using one screen. However, if you have dual screen this gets confusing. i still could not figure out on how to use it on different screen than primary screen.

    I've been using this for years on mac. The only 2 downsides is that: A. there is no way to mark up using straight lines. B. sometime inadvertently I double click in the trackpad in the middle of marking up and it just takes the snapshot before I'm done marking up all my notes.

    I have used this for years and absolutley loved the versatility. i have a new 24" iMac and it will only let me clip the entire desktop, not what i am currently viewing. i tried turning off the hot corners to see if that was the issue but it is not.

    All windows disappear, I can only snip ny background. Useless now.

  • Please stop opening preference screen after every shot

    This would be my number 1 screenshot utility to deal with the retina display image scaling issue on most other apps with the native screen capture utilitu, but after every screenshot is copied to clipboard the preference menu opens. We know where to find it, this feature makes me go with a different app (monoshot and apowerscreenshot...1 for capture to clipboard only, other to be able to draw on the screenshot quickly)

    I've used this application for years, I recently purchased a new IMAC and every time I hit the snip tool the screen reverts to the screen saver and I'm unable to snip the document.

    It used to work awesome. Then all of a sudden after an ios update, when you choose to snip, your browser goes away and it's your home screen. Basically negating the screen you need the pic from. I used this ALL the time, and now I'm deleting it because it just plain old doesn't work.

    It choose one screen only so you constantly have to drag over what ever youe trying to cut and paste to the screen it has chosen as the default. Ive checked everywhere for support and I dont read or wrtie chinese so there is no support for this product. Good luck if you have any questions beyond the limited FAQ...
