Everytime i think im done with the skeletal system it haunts me. I have a human atlas; however, the skeletal system app allows me to see all features of the bones which is required for med school, pre-med, etc. Im very glad i got this, worth every penny. If you are planning to go the medicinal route, you wont regret getting this.
  • Limited rotation, clunky interaction

This appears to be a hasty port of an iOS app. There are basically no menu commands, and all the commands are on the main or auxiliary window as buttons and such. It only allows viewing from the side, or above/below. In side view, you can rotate the skeleton, but it seems to just start spinning most of the time rather than going to where I want it. In above/below views, there is no rotation. Zooming involves double-clicking or right double-clicking instead of using familiar pinch gestures or keyboard shortcuts.
  • Just OK

This has such potential. Running a New MacPro 2013, 6-Core 64GB RAM. When I click on a selection I get a “loading” message. Huh? Really? It’s only on for a few seconds, but how the heck is it “loading" on my machine? Nothing should be loading. It just be instant! This app needs some fine tuning. Looking forward to some updates.
  • Great app, but I would suggest improvements

This app needs to have some of the features of the other apps, like the ability to hide/fade/isolate certain bones. The interface needs to be more like the essential anatomy app, where you can zoom in on any section you want, not just the predetermined areas. Also, There needs to be a drastic improvement on certain bones/areas such as the ribs, there is next to no information for them. You can look at one groove for all the ribs at a poor angle with other stuff in the way. Please work on this.
  • Ribs?

I paid good money for this app because it seemed to do everything I needed it to. Then I realize you cannot look at individual ribs?
  • improvement?

The pins are the biggest concern for me. I wish they were more specific when they are talking about an entire area. Almost a 5/5, I think $14.99 is a little too expenisve. I purchased the muscle system too and I wish there was a way to test on the outer mucle layers only.
  • If you have a mac this is a complete waste of your money

Probably the best skeletal app available, but the quiz really needs to be fixed, half the time you can't tell where the pins are pointing to, and the angles that are used for the quiz make me want to scream sometimes….just awful. Good app but with some improvements could be GREAT.
  • Not worth the money

I downloaded this program onto a 17 inch Mcbook Pro, only to find that the application only filled a quarter of the screen and could not be enlarged. I suspect that they have ported this from the iPad version and couldn't be bothered to adapt it to the Mac screen. I consider this dishonest and am actively seeking a way to get my money back.
  • It's awesome
