Gives you some suggestions for itineraries, but click on anything and you’re asked to pay.
  • App doesn't do ANYTHING until you pay

Why not just make it a pay app to start?!? You just end up pissing customers off, that will never buy now.

The military itineraries have useless info not even in Tokyo. The maps are worthless images you can find in a Google search. Stay away!

I'm in Tokyo and the GPS feature doesn't work. So it is basically an offline map of which I already have a free version.
  • Better than expected

There were no reviews for this app when I bought it. I took the plunge anyway since everything else looked like junk in the app store. The offline map is truly offline (sort of). The map is fast, responsive and accurate. The only thing that caught me off guard is that you must have airplane mode off for the gps to work correctly. I really liked knowing what direction I was traveling. I also like the quick switching to the much more readable metro map. Wish I bought it on my first couple days in Tokyo. It's been an invaluable tool so far. There are some things that could use improving. The info gets a bit crowded unless you zoom in and the UI isn't the most intuitive but since there are only a few functions the learning curve is low. I highly recommend this app for anyone new to the Tokyo area. It's way better than pulling out folded maps and you can confidently roam the urban maze.
