  • Please fix

    By Hi there .!.!.!
This was the perfect app but now it’s awful. I can’t hear anything and sometimes I get calls and the phone doesn’t even ring. Please fix. I use to rely a lot on this app. Now it’s trash
  • So many times the connection is bad.

Glad to have 2nd number. I find that I use WhatsApp as my go to. Everyone has it and it’s free. I signed up for magic jack for 5 years but will not renew unless they offer better service. I only use the app.
  • Works great for me

Works flawlessly for me - iPhone SE w/iOS 12.whatever.
  • Not recommend it

When I started to use this app I just downloaded the app and purchased my phone number for a limited time. The next year they didn't extend my term and asked me to purchase a device which was totally useless, and I never used it after renewing my account for another year. Then I purchased international calling credit which was more expensive compare to other international calling apps. The international calling quality was very poor and they charge you when you call someone even if nobody response your call. They also sometimes charge your credit card without your permission.
  • Useless

Major problem with App you have no way to use your hands free and this could be very useful to check your voice mail a or when driving! Your better off using your computer The app is a waste of time! As they would say this app is as useless as breasts on a bull
  • Needs Bluetooth accessibility

Overall, I really like the app. The biggest problem with it is that I can’t answer calls when I’m driving. I wish they would add that option.
  • Keeps saying I don’t have an account

    By sean8d
I can’t log into the app, it thinks I don’t have an account. However I use the same information to log onto the webpage and it says my account is good for another 9 months!! Something is wrong with this app!!! I am deleting it AGAIN!!
  • NO!JUST NO!!!

0 stars nope and never again!!!
  • Extremely useful service!

Overall am quite happy with Magicapp. The subscription service is well worth the upgrade to get assigned a static phone number. Sometimes there is an echo during a call, but it's usually not too bad. It is not 100% reliable either since there are sometimes periods where either a calling party cannot get through, or sometimes in the middle of a long conversation the audio might drop out. One must realize though that you're talking over the internet which is not always reliable, so have to cut this app some slack and expect a 'hiccup' every now and then. Other than that, it all works fine for me on a 5th gen iPod touch running the latest IOS. This app extends the usefulness of the iPod immeasurably, and I consider it a MUST have app. Have used it daily now for almost a year, and often speak for several hours on end without issues. The pluses this service provides far outweighs any reliability issues. Am subtracting 1 star though because there is still no way to change ringtones from that rather harsh sounding bell! Please fix this and put a couple other ringtones in there to choose from, and might give it 5 stars - HELLO MAGICAPP DEVELOPERS, ARE YOU LISTENING? UPDATE Jan 2019: Since apple refuses to update the iPod Touch, got an iPhone SE to use as an iPod, and am running IOS 12.1.2 (the latest as of right now). Magicapp was one of the first apps I installed. A couple issues were noticed right off the bat, and clearly it does not work nearly as well on the SE as it does on the 5th gen iPod. Firstly, when paired with my speaker/mic via Bluetooth the party on the other end whom I’m speaking with reports my audio quality as being very choppy, or cutting in and out. This is not the case when NOT using Bluetooth and I sound fine Secondly, there is a stability issue and on several occasions the app has crashed just out of the blue while in the middle of a call. Thirdly, when using the SE’s speakers you have to manually enable the speakers via the app’s speaker button or else you won’t hear anything. None of these issues are present in the 5th gen iPod Touch where everything works perfectly. I really wish the app developers would look into these problems and issue an update that addresses and corrects them!

I wish I could give this app ZERO stars. The app has NOT been working ALL month (1/2019) long! I have the latest app and the latest phone updates! At first I was unable to log into my account. Then once I was FINALLY able to log into my account I have been unable to make any outbound calls! I have also been unable to receive any incoming calls! My home phone shows missed calls, but these calls were NEVER forwarded to my cell phone via the app! THESE ISSUES NEED TO BE ADDRESSED AND FIXED IMMEDIATELY !!!!!!!
