The app has suddenly stopped functioning properly since the beginning of July 2017. The August issue doesn't even display on the main screen -even though I have a subscription from within the app. I have tried everything, to no avail. I have reported this to customer service - still no real answer after 3 days. I can't be the only person who has complained... It's a pity that such a good magazine has such an unreliable app.

The issues are always delayed in release. It is end of July and the August issue is still not out. Horrible

I love this magazine, and have been reading it since the 1960's when it was Harpers and Queen. When it became harder to find the print addition, I found I could download to my ipad. It tajes FOREVER to download. I have now paid for the March 2017 issue and it will not download. Why? I am able download Vogue and Tatler, what gives?

We have a free app from Apple called Newsstand, from which we get "free" apps from publishers that allow us to buy their magazines. What is the purpose of Newsstand? We can buy apps in the App Store.

Not free, and why aren't there more selections? This whole newsstand app is a joke.

As it clearly states in the first sentence, the APP is free but the MAG SUBS are by purchase. I love the quality of the picture and it is nice to be able to focus and take screen shots. The only con is that downloading time is very slow for the full issue. This could be due to where I live, and the service towers, but as you can browse through the completed pages, it's not a huge deal. I assume by the time I even reach the end, the pages will have downloaded.
