    I’ve been using this app since 2016, started it when I was 16 years old, I’m now 24 and have tons of entries from teenage years into early adulthood. Absolutely amazing. Always an app downloaded on my phone

  • App doesn’t work

    The app doesn’t work on my iPhone. Every time I type a sentence and it sinks it, the app closes and I have to get back into it.

  • App Crashes When Typing

    The app tends to crash when I type into my journal. I tried deleting and re-adding the app, but the same thing happens. No updates found, but the app crashes. The only saving grace is that my work is saved, but it is frustrating to jot down my ideas in the midst of an app crash.

  • Perfect except for stability issues

    This is exactly what I was looking for, a simple, private way to collect a daily reflection with a photo or two. Uncluttered layout, easy to use — except it keeps crashing randomly. Maybe more often when I use voice-to-text, when I switch between apps. I don’t lose my work, but I have to relaunch Penzu every time. I’ll give the app a little longer try, because it’s otherwise so well suited for what I want. But if it gets too annoying to keep relaunching I’ll just delete it and try something else.

  • Image Upload Issues

    Good app. However for some reason when I upload certain images onto a journal entry from my phone, they may or may not display when viewing the same journal entry on my laptop. Honestly infuriating having to reupload the same images. Also, I wish you could upload multiple images at a time as opposed to having to upload one by on.

    i got pro and it said i had to upgrade, went to the page to upgrade and i paid and it said i was already pro, i did this for about 20 minutes just going in circles of not being pro but being pro, never using this garbage again

  • Why doesn’t the mobile app have a dark mode?

    The browser version is great but without the ability to edit across multiple devices, it isn’t very useful. You cannot add to or create a journal entry in the app so why even have an app?

    This is the only journaling app I use and I have used it for almost 10 years. It’s easy to use and you can have as many journals as you want. I am currently on 4. It also sends reminders if you haven’t written in a while. I how easy it is.
