  • Offerings are good, but app doesn’t save recents

Overall, I like Pluralsight as a service; however, the mobile app does not seem to save recent courses. So for example, I had started a business analysis course earlier in the week on desktop, but the mobile app did not show it in any of the homepage links. Thus, I could not find it easily on the mobile app. When I went into the course on desktop and bookmarked the course, I was able to see the course on the mobile app. I suggest the app show recently viewed or in-progress courses so you can continue your progress on the mobile app.
  • Great app!

Let me start by saying this is one of my favorite apps. The ability to download entire courses to play on my commute is incredible! I'd love to give this a full 5 stars, but there's just one minor issue I have frequently. Every few days or week I have to randomly login to the app fresh. Every time I login again, I get an email stating I have a new device connected, along with an additional listing on the authorized devices page. This has been going on for several app and iOS versions.

in a few places I can drag paths to the left side, but I can't click on a path's elipsis and add it there
  • UX is very poor

I think they should improve the app's UI. UI activities are very limited and layout are fixed. I couldn't modified the size or hide any section in the window. It is hard to hide player controls. Very poor from pluralsight.

This app just uses a browser to serve the videos and unfortunately for me the browser piece of this app refuses to login. So can’t even use this app.
  • Waste of space in the App Store

I'm not sure why this app was even put in the App Store. Using an App is supposed to be a better user experience. Things work much better in a browser. For instance. If you bump your mouseover the screen it dims the widow and the video controls pop up overlaying the video. If you are like I suspect a large portion of people are you are using your mouse pointing and taking notes. Also why do we need to see 1/2 the screen showing the course sections? I just want to see the video and not have it dim and get covered up. I want to be able to pause video and not have control buttons overlay a grayed, dimmed screen. It is so clumsy and such a bad user experience. It's unfortunate because I'd love to have a good app that i can use on my iPad or iPhone especially if I am on the go. But this App discourages me since the learning experience is so poor. Dion't waste your time on downloading it. Stick with a web browser. All it will do is take away from progress in learning. I'm not sure why they don't listen to users since I have seen many others with the same complaints and it’s been well over a year and updates released yet all the bad in the app hasn’t been addressed and that tells me it never will. If I didn’t get a subscription through work I’d cancel and go to another source. There are plenty of others out there that have better apps.

  • App review not about content

This app is designed probably only for mobile use. On the iPad it doesn’t even seem like it’s designed for streaming content. The play/pause buttons don’t even fade. So if you pause and replay the content the media controls just stay onscreen. Why does it even have a miniature player if the video becomes so small that you can’t understand the content.
  • Best ever!
