  • Had to repurchase

    By HipPilot
Not thrilled that I had previously purchased the app but when I got a new phone using a family account, it forced me to repurchase. Then when I tried to get the charge taken off, Apple says this item is not eligible for a refund. Kind of bush-league.
  • Was great and now abandoned...

    By stiger72
I have been using this app since Ver 1.2 and as Apple has moved on with iOS updates it seems that the developer WDT has left this what used to be an awesome app... abandoned. Many are on iOS 12 and since the release if iOS 11 the app UI is buggy and notifications are very delayed if you get them. Developers at WDT have said an update was coming soon for nearly a year. I’ve moved on to Storm Shield where a plethora of notifications are available and deleted Weather Radio.
  • Needs an update

    By -J-a-x-
While this app still works and still notifies me of lightning strikes, it’s in bad need of an update. If WDT doesn’t update it for the iPhone X screen then I’ll move to another lightning detection app.
  • Good app

Great for alerting severe weather and very loud. However, the app needs to be optimized for new iPhones. Particularly iPhone X, XS, and XS Max.
  • Not so great now

    By Skippysfriend
Don’t know what happened to this app but it’s practically useless now. And I’m not paying for lightening alerts when I get them free on the Weather app. This is no longer the best weather app. Hasn’t been updated in forever.Don’t need it taking up space on my iPhone so will delete.
  • Lightning Alert

    By Mr. Al!
My yearly subscription for the lightning alerts ran out on August 26. I have been trying to get it restored and the app keeps taking me around in circles. I have sent an email, actually quite a few emails, and have been sent a link to go to restore the purchase. However as of this posting on September 2, I have not been able to purchase the alert yet. As an aside, if we’ve bought the Alert wants, I really don’t see why this is the only Alert that the platform on her charges for 95 for every year.
  • Very glitchy and locations don’t work

I’ve used this app and recommended it for years but now I can’t even edit locations.
  • Does. Not. Work. At. All.

This app is very sporadic, and when it comes to severe weather alerts that’s not good enough. It’s hard to believe this app is made by the same company that makes the awesome RadarScope. I tweeted them today to ask if they ever considered adding push alerts to that app and was told that weatherradio sends alerts to Apple Watch. First off, it doesn’t. The watch mirrors notifications from the iPhone; there’s no watch component to the app. Here’s hoping this company can somehow take the success they found in RadarScope and turn it into something useful here.
  • Abandonware Weather

This was once a terrific app. Now it seems to be left for dead. Sadly deleting it after several years of use. RIP
  • App needs updating

    By Techno-Dog
I use to rely on this app however it’s become buggy and does not push out weather updates reliably anymore. It needs to be upgraded to support iOS 11 and iOS 12 when iOS 12 is released. The last update you released was 2 years ago it says. That’s no good. I could go to the local new stations weather app and ditch this one, however their app does not push out notifications when do not disturb is enabled and I think this one does.
