  • Poor for navigation

A least in Holland these charts lack the detail to be useful for navigation on anything other than a major river. Information on locks and bridge heights is missing in most cases. Go with the ANWB app instead. By the way the Navionics charts are also poor for inland Belgium. Also, the new auto routing feature does not work. Support has been unable to resolve the issue.

I just returned from 9 days of sailing in the Hebrides on a charter boat. I bought this app mostly for passage planning purposes, but I ended up using it a lot on the boat to supplement the chart plotter (which was not easily viewed from the helm). I was very impressed with the ease of use, the accuracy of the data, the integrated tide and current information, and the ability to record and share track information.
