FaxFresh

It's true. I rarely need to fax anything. But every so often, I travel back in time to the late 90s and have to deal with someone who needs me to fax them a document. I have no idea when I downloaded FaxFresh, but it's been very reliable every time I've needed it. My only complaint is the time it takes...which I don't think is a fault of the software, but the reality of faxing over the internet! So, if for some bizarre reason you're in need of simple, clean faxing software, this is a great option.

Quick & Easy, and cheap too ... I like that I don't have to pay a subscription fee because I don't fax on a regular basis. This app suits my needs perfectly, and the confirming email with all the details gives me confidence that my fax has been received on the other end.

FaxFresh is brilliant for someone like me that only sends a Fax very occasionally. Hiighly recommended.

The last two times I've tried to send a fax it was unsucessful, but the developer has been responsive to my questions and has made sure I got a refund. Not sure why there is a problem, though.

Got notifications that my fax was sent successfully however, the other party never received the fax. Only costed $1.99 but, still. I will never use again nor recommend this App. Their customer service is junk too!

I am SO satisfied with this app. that I decided to write a review. I have had NO trouble using this great faxing app. I gave up my home landline and use only my cell phone now. Without a landline, Fax Fresh enables me to send a fax from my laptop. I fax rather infrequently--maybe once a month on average, so this solution makes sense for me. It is so simple to use and convenient and I am really just grateful it exists. TIPS: What I do is create a coversheet on my PC and print it. Then, I scan that along with my documents and save it to a thumbdrive. I load the thumbdrive onto my PC and transfer the pdf document to my desktop. Open the FaxFresh app. Drag the pdf onto the app screen. Type in the fax number. It automatically takes me to my PalPal account which I chose as my method of payment. I pay. I click "payment complete." And away it goes...it initiates the fax...it lets me know when the fax goes through successfully, finalizes payment (no charge for unsuccessful fax) and sends me an email confirmation. Sounds complicated, but it's really easy. Plus, I have an electronic record of the fax and its transmittal confirmation. I love it. I don't need a fax machine. I don't need to go outside of my home to fax. I highly recommend it!!

I've only needed to fax something a few times and it was REALLY nice to have this app installed when I needed it. I love that I can pay with PayPal too. It's fast, convenient and trustworthy!

I have tried 3 times to send a fax. Each time your notice says that it is "unable to authorize payment", & that I need to "complete the entire PayPal checkout process". I must have completed it correctly, b/c PayPal puts the charges in "pending" - waiting for FaxFresh (Purple Cover??) to complete my order. I'm not impressed with the lack of information addressing the steps & possible hiccups. Great idea, but.....

1.99 for the occasional fax. Easy to use. One small issue. When the payment screen pops open for paypal, it bottom of the pop up window runs off the screen. You have to put your mouse over the small window behind the payment window and pull it all the way to the top and center of your screen (13" macbook size) so you see the button at the bottom that aknowledges you have paid. Other than that, its great.

It is a great simplistic app but it needs to be updated to a more modern UI. Should accept other payment methods besides PayPal.
