This app used to be great and had tons of free content all of a sudden basic stuff you have to upgrade and pay a premium ...disappointing I have to delete it now.
  • Love it

Great app. Very intuitive and the best reverse chord feature I’ve seen. Plus a tuner and tons of other features. Now how bout a mando chord chart?
  • Very useful app

With the chords and scales on here, I can stop sifting through books, looking for the right chord, and the reverse inversions are useful as well. Plus with the metronome and tuner, I’m down to one app.
  • Chords!

Great resource and it fits in my pocket. I’ve used this off and on for several years.
  • Great app but....

First of all This app totally taught me to play a lot of guitar chords very easily. Great instruction and fun to do. I was a little disappointed when I got to the end of the “barre exam” and that was it. No more instruction. I learned 15 chords or so but then was all over. There is a place with all the scales but it didn’t show how to play scales, and as a complete beginner like me would be nice
  • Well worth it

I bought the full version. I'm a complete beginner, but this challenges me. I like that they teach specific chord combinations to build off of each other. I've been playing for a week, and I'm already comfortable playing 8 chords and switching between them. I'm excited to learn more. Some songs are hard at first, but it's fun to play along and get faster and faster with practice.
  • Notes disappear

🙁Hoping a bug fix would be available for notes in my practice section that don’t work..i paid for the full version of this app and while I’m very happy with the decision the fix would easily give this app a 5 Star rating.
  • Pay to play garbage.

1st chord I looked up—a B7sus4, it tried to charge me money for the result. No thanks.
  • Great app, but could fit the screen better for portrait

iPad 9.7. This app has tons of uses and is well worth the price for the full version. My only pet peeve is the way scales don’t display properly and some of the notes are cut off until you scroll down in portrait. This may be because the same amount of notes display on the landscape mode. Take some hints from how the interface from rock smith works for scale patterns, display it so I can zoom in and out on different sections of the pattern, or view the entire fretboard. The reverse chord finder and genius are helpful for writing. I also like being able to hear every chord and note if I want. Anyways great app and hopefully they can fix the notes disappearing thing.
