It’s nice when it works. The app doesn’t handle having multiple servers very well, or having servers go on/offline, for that matter.
  • Almost perfect

Great home media management system. I just wish photo management and slideshows would get a little love.
  • Amazing App

I’ve now had my Plex for about two years. For anyone with a lot of movies (and other media), it’s a must-have tool for organization and playback. I’ve created with my Plex my own, home-grown, NetFlix for my family and friends. This app lets me take my entire movie collection with me. After having the Mac version running about a week, I realized what an incredible thing Plex really was, and bought a Plex Pass. For those that don’t know, a Plex Pass is a lifetime upgrade subscription. It’s not that I cared about upgrades at all; it worked beautifully already. It’s that Plex is such an incredible piece of work, that I, without regret, paid the $100 one-time cost. Two years later and Plex is still free, And I’m still glad I sent the developers $100. If you understand that I hate paying a buck for a phone app, or several $$ even for Windows Office, and you’ll realize my level of appreciation. Keep up the great work and THANK YOU.
  • Terrible update.

Give us the previous UI back please. The new one is unintuitive and inconsistent. Also, the latest update crashes every minute or so.
  • WHAT IS THE POINT?????!!!!!

What is the point of this app if you can’t use it?! I tried to watch something and it took forever to load each time I presses play and then it told me I could “use it for free as a Plex remote control, but otherwise, I’d have to pay to use it.” First of all, I don’t need to use a phone as a remote control. Second of all, it says you can only watch a minute!!!!!! Pointless app. Will be deleting.
  • I LOVE the podcasts. But, my podcasts run multiple streams at once. So mine is basically broken.

What do you do when it won’t do anything on podcasts but run multiple streams at once? Is there a fix?
  • I miss old Plex

Please, for those of us willing to pay $5 a month, let us disable all the extra crap and just play our local media. No podcasts, no radio, etc.,

This review keeps getting taken down, but the Casting situation with Plex just keeps getting worse and I keep regretting my PlexPass purchase.
