  • Purchases go away

I bought the full version that includes all amps, which I believe costs $150. After a while it stopped working and IK Multimedia had me re-upload the app. After that my purchase of the complete version was not recognized and I could not access all amps. IK support told me to re-purchase and they would populate for free. A bit skeptical, I did not want to take a chance on losing another $150, so I tried to buy a “SVT pack” for $25; it did not repopulate but instead charged me another $25. Stay away from this app, unless you like to get ripped off AND have an app that does not work properly
  • Good product - no customer service

Tried calling customer service with an issue and a couple questions. I got a recorded message on a loop saying to fill out the forms online and wait for them to contact me. I don’t spend time online and I’m not interested in filling out long forms and waiting days for a response. I felt with this issue with this company 2 years ago and go nowhere. Now I have another issue with something I downloaded in the past week and if I can’t get someone on the phone you might as well not have any customer service at all. No prompt customer service = no customer service. I grew up in a business. It did well because the customer service was top priority. Apparently that’s a lost sentiment anymore.

Stuck in Portrait mode when in “Live” and settings are useless. The iPad app works great, but Apple hasn’t released iPad OS 16 yet… I hope you’re working on a fix before that drops! *Update 5/26/2023* Fixed! Three stars until I can play with it more, but it now properly switches to landscape when in “Live” mode and devices can now be viewed and accessed.
  • This app has been unusable for months

Since the iOS 16 update, this app is unable to operate without static. I contacted the developer months ago regarding this. I’ve even now regretted my purchase of Amplitube 5 for PC because of their poor customer service.

I re downloaded the app. I have it for iPad and iPhone. I had bought a few amp heads as well as pedals. Since re downloading it, it has this noise static that I can’t figure it out. It’s only on AmpliTube. GarageBand, no noise or crackle. It doesn’t make any sense. I wanna keep using it, if it can’t be fixed I’ll be using something else. What is it?

  • App no longer works

I have been using the app for years, primarily as a tool to practice music for my live band. The feature to import songs from your phone music library no longer works. The songs now import at a sped up rate with distortion and poor sound quality. I have to actually slow down the sonf speed to get the tempo correct, and the sound is pixilated and garbled. I have tried :deleting and redownloading the app, and even tried other version of the AmpliTube app and they all have the same problem. Now looking for a new app.
