Feature request: Good app trying out all the features for the first time. So far works as described. One has to decide whether you want a simple app or one with more features. This would be in the category of more features than the basic apps. One might want to have both kinds of apps. One simple app that you can quickly create a couple of plays in a few seconds and one that has more options and looks a little fancier.
  • Not what I hoped

This app could be great especially coaching little league football like I do but it will NOT let me put the players where I want them. When I add my O-line, it automatically offsets them where it wants them. My RB and QB have to be touching or offset. Very annoying when you pay $5 for an app and it was a waste. Hopefully the developers will read this and make it easier to use.

This coaching app does everything it promises. What I like best about this product is the service I received. The program had a couple of bugs in it, so I sent an e-mail to the company. They responded professionally within a day to let me know that they would fix the problem. They contacted me again the next day to let me know that they fixed the bugs, and--an unsuspected surprise--they were going to enhance the program with some suggestions I made to improve user-friendliness. This company seems committed to its product and users. Considering the product support and useful coaching app, this program is a bargain. I like the idea of sending my high school players beautiful screen shots of key positional soccer situations they will come across in games. I like the idea of shooting an image onto a big screen for tactics talks (moving players around, drawing arrows, etc.). I hate using my old-school dry erase board. I will be using this app henceforth. I imagine that this app will become more and more polished. Until then, it is still going to be the best coaching app for the iPad. I gave it 4 stars because it still has room to grow, but, again, it delivers on its promise. By the way, I am a 20-year varsity soccer coach at a high-level high school program. I have evaluated this app from a soccer perspective. I would buy it again.

I don't get where all the one star reviews are coming from. From what I have tried with this app it does what it intends to do and does so well. It is a pretty effective sports whiteboard and has quite a decent set of comprehensive set of tools to work with when drafting plays for various types of sports. perhaps these one stars didn't know what to expect from the app. but for me personally I found no problems with this app except that it may be limited to a niche group who would actually be able to effectively make use of it. My only suggestion would be to add a print option so that you could print off your plays, but i can understand how that might not be possible coding wise. All in all a solid app!
  • Decent, could use some improvement

This board is pretty good for demonstrating drills to the players during practice and showing them how to rotate in their triangles. Would like to see some enhancements around the use of arrows and labeling to make it easier to show progression, or even better would be the ability to record movements in a sequential order that could be played back. That would really make this app stand out over a traditional white board chalk talk.
  • Lot of potential, but keeps crashing

Currently I am using the program to try and create a depth chart as well as a defensive playbook for my 6th grade football team. The pros to this program include its versatility, ease of use, and uniqueness. The cons are that the program has a tendency to quit when I am editing a saved depth chart and even when zoomed in, the yard markers are way too close together and the finger stylus too coarse to draw up any plays to scale. All in all, I think it is a great start and extremely innovative, but the program needs more stability.
  • Nice useful app

If you need a tactics board, this is the app for you. It,s easy to use and has a lot of options for different sports. It even includes some blank boards for sports or games not built in. One suggestion I,d have is for the ability to add your own boards. I could see something like this being really popular for war gamers and those of a more geeky, less sporty, nature.
  • It's got a good start, but drawing needs to improve

I like putting the players on the field, and moving them into position - that's great. But the drawing needs to improve quite a bit. It doesn't register at your fingertip and that's insanely annoying. Also, if we could have fine tune zoom rather than just 2 settings, that would help. Not all offensive line ups happen Over 10 yrd spreads. Double Tap should be edit name - not delete. Developer just needs To swap these 2 and it'll be intuitive at that point. There's some sense of auto snapping, but if you could make it snap to one yard marks or let us set that, that would really make setting up a play alot quicker. I spend too much time nudging players into position. I gave it a 3 because it has great potential. If the above issue are addressed, this will easily turn into a 5 star rating. I want to use it in coaches meetings and on the field, so pleas consider these requests Ps> add the ability to add text so we can label the plays - or just a "name label" that can be moved and resized.
