    What used to be a very good food tracking app is now a complicated mess. If I add my own foods I need to add everything about calories, fat servings per container, etc. Searching foods is also difficult, for instance looking for a particular brand of yogurt can take awhile. And if I add exercising, it adds calories back into my daily allowance. It’s connection with the Fitbit app is haphazard, I never know what will get imported or lost. Just too frustrating to be useful for me.

    Generally speaking, this is a good tracker. But it has some problems that drag down it's usefulness for me. Quite frequently the app goes through the complete login process as if being launched for the first time. This adds a lot of delay time to entering data and is a huge dissincentive to data entry. Support has been of no help on this. It produces a lot of double entries when synced to Apple Health. The health app is useful for easily tracking various quantities but the dual entry defeats it and it takes a lot of time to manually trace down the duplicate entries and delete them.

    I have been using MyFitnessPal for YEARS. It is the most simple, straight forward calorie macronutrient dietary diary app out there. BUT! Here’s my current disappointment. I am and have been fallowing a keto lifestyle. I would LOVE it if MFP allowed people the OPTION to consider NET CARBS if they chose to. Perhaps it could be an option that could be turned on or off in settings. This would help beat the competition with other apps that offer this feature! That’s really the only thing making me want to jump ship. Otherwise, I continue to be a dedicated user and I would happily give a 5 star rating if it met all of my needs. Thanks mfp for being the best food diary out there!

    Free features of the app are limited, it could only help you track you calories. What’s good it that they have a good database of products so you don’t need to think too much. Yet, app is not intuitive, busy, has lots of ads and useless buttons. Notifications are a nightmare. They are super annoying, and if you just don’t react they send you a notification “our notifications seems not to work, so we will stop” - which is even more annoying since they don’t really stop. I think there are lots of great apps that do the same thing.

    Easy to use! If I was more motivated I would have lost a lot more weight. However, even without consistency (completely due to my inability to stay focused) I've lost 12 lbs since I started. At first I counted calories to help me see how much I was actually eating. It really helped me to get a grasp on how I was overeating.
