I started listening years ago, when I was listening to a lot of knitting podcasts. Bur I really don’t listen to those anymore, and besides, this has evolved to be WAY more about the lit and only tangentially about the craft. Heather does her homework, presents classic literature, and best of all, teaches to the jokes. She makes certain you understand out of date references and words that are no longer in normal use. And you get to hear some of the greatest stories of all time! The app is the easiest way to go through the past library.

I am both an avid reader and crafter. I’m unable to work, and have been trying to keep myself busy with crafts. Lo and behold, I found this podcast/app and am in love! It’s so worth checking out if you’re on the fence. Believe me, you’ll be hooked in no time like I am!
  • Craftlit is wonderful.

Heather is so personable and open, after listening to her discuss one book you will feel like she is that neighbor you always wish you have. Her literary insights are spot on, and make the books much more enjoyable. Historical context, definitions of strange words, information about authors - all combine to make the stories she presents come to life.

I am a equipment operator, my wife introduced me to this podcast and I'm hooked. I enjoy the commentary before and after the story. Plus I learn more about knitting and it's terms so I kinda know what she's talking about now.
  • Great books

I'm absolutely loving the opportunity to listen to the classics while I knit. Heather's research into the authors and background information brings the story to life in a way that I would not be able to achieve on my own. Thank you, Heather, for doing what you do. I've always loved to read, but Craft Lit has sparked a whole new passion for literature for me.
