  • Excellent App

I own a computer consultancy in LA called Jectech. I have a lot of passwords to remember for the systems I maintain and personal, DataVault is useful to me because I need only to remember my master password to have all my passwords in only one place, another good thing is I just need to enter my info on one device, the other devices sync like magic. I am testing a beta of version 7 on my iPhone X, I was frustrated that Face ID only worked sometimes so I contacted support. They explained that I could change a security setting so that I would only have to enter my password once a month or never if I chose. Thank You guys for this amazing software and all your help. Happy customer since 2013 (iOS, MAC and Windows user) Update: Still using this amazing password manager software, working even better than before, I have licenses for iOS, Mac and Windows since 2013 until now Sep-17-2018 with not issues. Thank you guys to keep this program updated.

Will this work if I updated to iOS 12 ? Do I have to backup or email myself the information?

Touch ID still does not work. It’s been 7 months since my last review. I was assured that this feature was fixed and it hasn’t. Great product overall but please fix the Touch ID feature. The CEO reached out to me and had me change some settings and the Touch ID works beautifully. I love this app so much and I am glad this function works. Thanks
  • 1 Thing Missing

I think this is a great App, I recommend it all the time.... However, I feel there is 1 thing missing... SAVE A PICTURE!!! I wish I could insert a picture into the notes section, it would be great for Receipts, let’s say you buy the extended warranty from Walmart, I can never find my receipt to return stuff.... it would also be handy for many other situations, maybe elderly people don’t want to type everything in just snap a picture... I believe the App would be PERFECT, with pictures!!!

Great app. Used Splash for years but this is a major improvement, much more intuitive and a bargain to boot. 2018/08: still going strong, have several devices sharing and syncing info. Flawless performance!

Happy so far. I switched from a different password manager. What won me over were: 1.) One time fee, no subscription based service 2.) A search interface as well as categories to be nested. I am a bit worried if someone is on my phone and they play a “joke” by failed password attempts and the whole database is destroyed. I wonder if the devs can add an option to not have the database destroyed after failed login attempts. I know one can use argument they shouldn’t be on your phone but I’m just a little off put that it would automatically delete the database. I hope backups and restore would be a fix and if it is already I hope they address it in a FAQ or update. Overall good product. I do hope they continue to support this app and add new icons every now and then.
