  • Good Content, Silly Design

Overall, like the publication. The app dividing the subscriber content from the free content is ridiculous and a stupid idea. I have to jump back and forth from the home screen to read the paid content and it makes me more likely to miss stories.

What is with this new update? The format used to be an easy/seamless match with the website and now it’s nearly unusable.

This app design is from the Stone Age, but the content is very good. I suggest using another app to access the content, which is very good.

This is the third time I've had to reinstall this app because it keeps forgetting my account information and won't restore the purchase without a reinstall.

I love the journal which is the only reason why I force myself into using the app. Browsing in between screens and articles is completely non intuitive and sending articles usually locks the app. Check out the NY Times app, copy it and be done with it.
