I rely on this app for a lot of information. Now, particularly, that it’s football season the app won’t work. I’ve tried several times to open it, then nothing. A blank screen then my homepage on my phone appears. This has occurred over a week now. I still get alerts but even when I press the alert to open the app...nothing.

Just realized why they have to make it that you have to purchase espn+ in order to watch fights on UFC because other then that, can’t watch any live football games spent money for the year subscription and it was the biggest waist of money I’ve ever spent. I can’t watch anything except stuff you have to spend even more money on like the fights. This app is the most pointless app in the world. Will be deleting and never using again. Please hope people learn from my mistake and save your money!
  • The App is Awful

Look, ESPN does a great job in the app with organization and stuff, but it will shut down on me after taking 10 seconds to load my football team’s schedule. There are all sorts of glitches and it doesn’t run smoothly especially when trying to watch previous episodes within the app. CBS, Fox, and the Score are 3 otherworldly better apps for the same functions. The ESPN app is not even close to being acceptable for the “worldwide leader in sports”.

Paid the first month for a subscription because I don’t have a tv provider. ESPN makes you think you’ll have access to watch games with the subscription, but you HAVE to have a tv provider to use the subscription. What am I paying you for then??!
  • Data hog

Been using it for years and putting up with minor bugs such as screens that don’t update properly or leave data from previous screens. But today I discovered that when I am not on Wi-Fi it uses a significant amount of my data even when I don’t look at videos at all and i don't run it in the background. And significant means exactly that. For example in the last two or three days where all my apps are 50 to 90 MB, it used almost 800 MB. Support has no way of reducing the data usage.
