Play Sudoku and fill each 3x3 set of boxes with numbers 1 to 9. Play a new puzzle every day in easy, medium or hard mode. THE MINI CROSSWORD The Mini is all the fun of The Crossword, but you can solve it in seconds. These word puzzles don’t increase in difficulty throughout the week and feature simpler clues. TILES Unwind while you match elements in the day’s pattern — the key is to make consecutive matches. LETTER BOXED Create words using letters around the square. Letter Boxed is another fun way to test your word-making skills. STATS Track your progress for The Crossword, Wordle and Spelling Bee. The NY Times games have become part of my morning coffee time ritual…. As addictive as caffeine???
  • Why not all the games?

Why aren’t all the games (like Vertex and Strands) in the games app? This doesn’t make sense. I stumbled on vertex and stands and have to play them via web browser on my phone instead of in the Games app. Spelling bee buddy should also be in the app. I have to have 3 web pages open to play two additional games and use spelling bee buddy. Why? I use the app daily and this is dumb. House all the games and features relevant to games in the app.
  • Please add Strands and Vertex to the App

I love this app and all the puzzles, but wish Strands and Vertex were included on the app. Please make that happen

I have a lot of fun with the free version of this app but here I sit at 4pm on a Saturday and I somehow missed todays mini crossword and can only do Sunday’s mini. At 4pm. If I want to do todays, I have to pay. I also wish there was a leaderboard for connections! ***Update - I am not confused, I am simply saying it’s dumb to have the crosswords change over so early. Why not midnight and 10pm eastern?
  • Where’s Strands?

I love the app, which is better and easier than using Safari each time I play. But where is the Strands game?

I personally love Wordle spelling bee and New York Times games. I like them because you only get to do them once a day which is exiting to wait for the next day. New York Times games also has really fun games like Wordle and spelling bee they’re both very fun and there’s more games just like that. If you give New York Times a bad review I disagree.
  • Unfortunately, I’m hooked

Love playing the daily mini games as the free version, but get really frustrated when sometimes progress doesn’t save, or some games (sudoku!!!) roll over to the next day super early. Like 7pm!!
  • Needs more competitive features and and a more robust archive

The app is consistent with the feature, supported across games. Some have robust archives available or companion apps, only The Mini has a leaderboard. Some games sync progress across devices, some have no updated icon or menu option when it’s completed or completed perfectly.
  • Addicted to these games!
