  • Please bring back mirroring of phone!!

I have used MapMyRun/Fitness since 2012. I have trained for triathlons, half marathons, and marathons with this app. I have loved it. Love the challenges, etc. I loved it even more when I got the Apple Watch and was able to have my heart rate tracked and pause my workouts from my wrist. I was even initially excited about the prospect of not having to have my phone (mainly to use the app on open water swims). I take back my excitement. I have never used my watch to listen to music (skips too much) and I want my phone with me on runs for emergency purposes anyway. With the recent update that made phone-less use of the app possible, I now don’t like the app at all. If I start my run on the watch to get heart rate and be able to pause, I don’t get the coaching and distance updates. If I start the app on my phone, I can’t pause the app on my watch, no heart rate tracking, no skipping of playlist songs from the watch - now I am back to getting out my phone to do all this. Please please please bring back mirroring of the phone - make it an option so those of us who want it can use it! Otherwise I may not use the app much anymore : /
  • Music issues

I wish I could play by own music instead of the music on the app
  • So disappointed

I used to use this app all the time but something happened and it’s been too long like this that I finally deleted it today. I deleted this app for two reasons: the GPS and sync with Apple Watch. The gps signal was strong where I live ( Southern/Central California). On runs, every two minute update as to pace, distance were completely off which really bothered me on my runs. One two minute update it said I was at 23 minute pace! And the next was 8:00 and then 14. The pace was 8-9 minute. This continued throughout my runs consistently for two weeks. Next, the Apple Watch sync. Just terrible and frustrating. If I started this app through my watch then it would not give voice updates or coach mode through the phone or ear piece. The start feature on the watch also didn’t show calories/distance or pace. On the watch I could tell the app was on because the only option was “finish” but all the features showed three zero’s. My girlfriend had the same problem. I am moving back to the Nike running app or Strava. I would like to come back to this app but it needs to be fixed soon. There are so many complaints!
  • "Update" ruined a great thing.

I've been using this app for a couple years and have loved it. The training plans are great. I've trained for several races with it, and have been happy with my progress. I love the voice promptings so I don't have to look at my phone or Garmin watch to know when my intervals are, and getting pace updates (well, back when they were accurate, anyway.) were very helpful. After 2 surgeries in 6 months I started the 1/2 marathon program to get back into shape. At first everything was great, then the "update" happened. Since then the GPS is terribly inaccurate, and the app seems increasingly glitchy. I have it set to the 10-second start delay, but it takes usually takes closer to a minute before the prompt to start running finally comes. There's been times it's failed to come at all. When I'm running, the app tells me I'm running at least 30 seconds per mile faster than I really am, often up to a minute per mile, sometimes more. I run with my Garmin watch as well, and before the update they agreed pretty well. Never spot on, of course, but close. If it wasn't for my Garmin, I'd probably be seriously overestimating my fitness level and in for a rude awakening at a timed event. I've tried rebooting my phone, using the app with my wifi turned off, nothing helped. After yesterday's run I even uninstalled then reinstalled the app. That made things even worse, if you can believe it. Timing is off about the same, but the voice coaching even more glitchy. At one point it said my pace was 14 seconds per mile. Yep, SECONDS. Go me! I don't want to have to start my training over in another app and lose the progress I've already made, but unless this issue is fixed soon, I'm going to have to. This is making my running - my "me" time - unnecessarily frustrating. Please, please fix this so I can stay!

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in August of 2016. I assembled my Army to help me win this lifetime Battle. This app is one of the tools I use daily. It keeps me accountable, helps me reach my goals each week and has helped me manage better and live a healthy life! I am battle ready and feeling awesome! 90 pounds down, normal blood pressure, cholesterol, A1c is 5.5! Join me! I’ll run with you!
  • Love but not perfect

    By FunRun7
I love this app and how user-friendly it is. For me over the past years, I have noticed it gives more credit for distance than what I actually ran. I note about .2 Miles difference in a 7 mile run. So in a half marathon when you think you are coming up on the finish line you still have about .4 Miles left. Makes a difference!
  • Somethings wrong

    By Samrhobrome1
Something is wrong with this app all of the sudden. I’m assuming it’s due to the most recent update. It now rarely actually tracks my distance. If it does, it’s not even close to being accurate. I’ve used this app since 2014 with no problems until the last week or two. At first I though it was a problem with my phone’s GPS but that’s not case because my iPhone maps app still works fine. Please fix this ASAP! Considering downloading a competitor app...
  • Current update is inaccurate

Just undated and suddenly distances are wildly inaccurate . Everything was fine last week
  • Needs mountain biking love

    By top40sux
App is good, update was long in waiting to include Apple Watch, and link to health stats in iPhone. But I watch app doesn’t include mountain biking (although the main app in the phone does) which means I’ve got to pull the phone out of my pack to get more accurate.
